Sittin pretty in the neighborhood- but more than ready to break out of quarantine. Soon... very soon...

Can you tell me more about that setup? I am a current 100-series TLC owner of 4 years (before that had an 80-series for 10 years), and am about to have a 16 year-old who will be driving the 100. Looking intently at 470s, and that wheel / tire combo looks stout. What size for both? And is this lifted? I am trying to learn as much as possible about 470s over the next few months - main thing I am learning is that the airbag suspension in the back is something to inspect carefully and perhaps replace. Thanks.

Dobinsons 2” basic lift with comfort springs and coil conversion. Slee step sliders. 285/70r17 BFG KO2 tires on OEM Toyota TRD Pro SEMA wheels... had to move around some plastic liner in the fender. Works well.

Here's a couple of sandy pics of my 2007 GX 470 about half way down Padre Island (headed south from Corpus Christi) on my way to the Mansfield cut. I purchased it from my father a little over 2.5 years ago with 116K on it. I have about 127K on it now. It's got its battle scars (thanks mostly to my sister from when she once long-term "borrowed" it from my dad), but I love it. It was always "my vehicle" when I traveled to visit my family in Denver, so I've had plenty of time behind the wheel over the course of my dad's ownership before I bought it from him. Mechanically, she's a sounds as they come, my father takes vehicle maintenance seriously and the owner before him bought it new where it was originally sold in CT and was maintained by the dealer . He got it right out of warranty back in 2011 or so. No major upgrades, as of yet, may some accessories to come later on down the road, but I'm more of the light off-roading, overland type of person. I changed out the headlight bulbs before I drove it home from Denver with Sylvania ZXE Gold's and regular ZXE's in the fog lamps and then LED's inside and out once I got home. Tires, because everyone posts what they're running, are just stock size Michelin LTX AT2's. Happy to join the community here, finally, since lurking over the past few years. Many thanks to the members of this forum for the assistance, back when I first got it, installing the iPod integration kit.

this is very good. Any lift? 285:70? Sorry for the two most blown out questions of all time.
I didnt look (odd for me... I have a collection of up-finder pix of rigs i see around here 😆).
I doubt there's lift, prolly just rims and oversize tires.

Haha all good dude that’s what I thought. I think that thing looks super good. I’m sure a lot is in the angle
Silvered roof rails means it's a Sport, so KDSS. Those tires look larger than 31.6" (aka 265x70 17) so the spare wont fit under the hatch. 😉
