First time poster, here. Please be kind.

Anyone have the Dobinso
Actually I found a thread that answered this question. Not sure if I could delete this post. Still fumbling my way through the forum.

You're all good, no worries!

Here is a thread you may have already seen, that popped up from a bit ago on dobinsons.

Thinking about a front and rear bumper kit from 4x4 labs. I have a local welder that does great work at a reasonable rate. Any idea how long it would take to assemble each bumper if I got the kit?

I have a 4x4 rear with swingouts on order. Some local guys with the same bumper said to plan 30-40 hours of work for a DIY.

If you dont weld, I'd have them put it together as 4x4 labs will have the jigs and production welders which make it much, much faster.

It would be cheaper to just pay 4x4 labs for the finished bumper. Both bumpers require substantial welding.

@atnolan94 has a kit on the way and is gonna weld it up with his Harbor Freight welder.
It should be good:popcorn:

Interesting! I know he already has a Dobinson rear, this must be for a second truck in his family.

Yeah sold it, my labs kit comes in any day this week.

For the guy above, I promise it will be cheaper to have labs just build that bumper for you than try to have someone local do it. Plus labs builds their bumpers on a jig, your local welder will need the whole truck and assemble it on the truck. You won’t come out ahead.

This thread is probably just as good a place to ask as any. Does anyone have any experience with having one of these nice rear swing out tire carrier bumpers while towing an RV trailer? I'm concerned about the space between the tire and the RV's propane tanks & electric jack, specifically when turning sharp and maneuvering into parking. My RV uses a weight distribution hitch. Thanks dudes!

p.s. The Slee is sooo dead sexy. But I'd prolly have to sell one of my other Cruisers before I ever sprung for one! LOL

Never had an issue with mine. I have a BIOR rear dual swingout bumper with integrated receiver. None of the trailers I've towed have ever presented an issue. Since my LX is lifted, I run a drop hitch which affords a little more clearance.

Anyone have the Dobinsons rear bumper on their lc100? Pictures? Opinions on it?
I know you already found some but here's mine, I've really liked this bumper so far and the price point is great.
sorry its a crappy picture but surprisingly the only one I have where you can see the bumper lol

A single swingout if on a full width bar will not clear most trailers without an extended tongue.
Thanks. With the already enormous weight distribution hitch installed into the receiver, I can't imagine adding more leverage out the back when towing through any practical means. And the tongue on the RV isn't able to be modified. It would seem that if I install a nice double swing out rear bumper, with tire and basket, that I'll at least need to remove the big tire from it while towing the RV, which is fine.

Any others' experiences with this? Any pictures? Thanks.

Anybody actually have rear bumpers in stock? Seems to be a supply shortage.

I'm about to make another run of 10 rears. 4 are spoken for at the moment.

Hey Jason-
I am interested in getting a rear bumper from you. Sent you a PM earlier in the week. I'm sure you're slammed. No rush on getting back to me. Just would like to be added to the list for rear bumper. Thanks!
