No it's Garth's, the guy that registered ya at the Roundup.........it's a 30 ft Pig, from this distance or beyond it kicks ass...... :flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2: I did a T350 trans and DB front axle and needed to drive it to make sure all is OK.

Cool, Arsty, but cool,

iI dug this thread back up, and moved it here, as I bought this from Garth, and have been driving it daily.
Is there an initiation to get in here?
Butch

It looks alot like my '55!

It looks a lot like my fj55, but much better shape and a different color.

Mine's the same color, same mis-matched fenders and signal lights just not the big tires.

You passed the test, you bought a pig! Welcome to the sty. Glad to hear you are daily driving it as well.

Cheers, Carlos.

OINK! OINK!

What's mis matched about the front fenders?

.............other than one's right and the other is left?:p:p

From what I understand, if you have the square signal lights as OEM then you would not have the rectangular lights in the fender near the "LandCruiser" emblem so either the lights or the fenders are wrong (I have the same setup as I could only find decent older fenders when I did the resto). I may be wrong but that's what I've come to believe.

The low hood may or may not be correct for the year, I know my low hood is also incorrect for a '76 (they would not clear the air cleaner of the 2F from what I understand) but the high hoods I've seen all have a crack at the rear of the high point so I'll stick with what I have for now.

Pigs are not my specialty, but I know 40's and the small signal lights last year was 74 along with the bib lights...........as the large '75 and newer , TS has the side markers built in............this is a '74 which means someone probably installed the large turn signals.......

There you go!! Mismatched lights and fenders just like me except that my lights are correct and my fenders are not.

correct on the lighting issue. square lights came in 75. raised hood also came around the same time, with the 2f motor.

if anyone needs a low hood, i've got one for sale. ;)
