OK, many of the trucks we get in have some shoddy work....not ours mind you :D
Garths' Pig has a Saginaw mounted to a 1/2" plate that was totally unsupported except at the top, the truck wandered all over the road, you didn't drive it, your herded it......Short of re inventing the entire thing, we opted to brace both sides of the box/plate.
Doing an engine running test, moving the wheel 1/2 turn back and forth, the box moved at least 3/4"'

Passengers side mount, made from an F connecting rod, some DOM, 2 1/2" plates, that sandwich the frame rail, the outer is welded, but the inner will come off for service.

DS brace made from 1 1/2" heavy wall tubing cut on 45 degree angles, and a shot of the Lokar shifter on the T 350......

Nice. Janae will love that extra bracing when fighing for a space at the mall. :D
Look good Butch.

Must have become MUCH more noticeable with the 33s. When I bought it, it was running 30"s and had no wander. Glad you caught it...Janae is too, owes you a hug I s'pose...

Damn, he wasn't drunk, but sure looks it, dunno what he's up to unless he's dozing off...... :D :D

kinda looks to me like he's ready to heave....

anyone remember these ?... someone was selling a few they made. CHev 305 rods fit the saginaw box perfect.
