Morrison Jeep Trail in a 200?

Has anyone done this? I did it in August and I would like to know who else has done this and how it went.

    Wanted  1996-1997 Built 80

I'm seriously considering adding an 80 to my stable of Cruisers. This rig would be used for more technical trails than I can reasonably take the 200 on. While the 200 is a fantastic platform, doing the Morrison Jeep Trail in the 200 this year made me realize I need something with a solid front...

    For Sale  1973 FJ40 doors (complete) $900 - Denver

These two doors have been garaged by me for about 25 years. The glass is perfect and there is almost no rust, even in the bottom of the doors. The rubber is passible, but I would replace it if I was doing a restoration. At some point the doors were painted and there may be a bit of bondo, but...

P2420 Code: Evaporative Emission (EVAP) System Switching Valve Control Circuit High with LRA Sub tank

I've gotten this code a couple of times. I searched the 200 Forum and didn't see this code come up in any threads. Has anyone had this code and dealt with it? I'm particularly interested in someone that had the code and an LRA sub tank. Given that the entire fuel system is under vacuum and...

For Sale  Denver: OME 2723 Coil springs 08+ Land Cruiser

$120. Buyer pays shipping. I moved up to the 2724s because my 200 was too heavy for the 2723s. You should get about a 3" lift from these. I had them on for about 4K miles. PM me if you're interested.

    My creaky 200 (intermittent annoyance)

My left front has an intermittent noise that annoys me greatly. I took it to Slee a few thousand miles after the BP-51s and UCAs were installed and could not duplicate the sound. Today I caught it on video. Has anyone had an issue like this and know what it was?

LDA malfunction, Blind Spot Sensor Malfunction, Pre-collision malfunction

Today I got a series of error messages (LDA malfunction and Blind Spot Sensor malfunction) leaving a parking space after being parked outside for about 90 minutes. I called and made an appointment with Toyota and will have it looked at on Thursday. Then, I ran an errand, and got three error...

I love my 2016 8 speed tranny with TSB 0209-17

Man, this thing is a pleasure to drive. With the TSB the transmission shifts like a dream and provides a superior driving experience. That is all.

200 Footwell and inside door light adjustment (?)

I notice when driving my 2016 200 at night that the foot-well lights in the driver and passenger side are illuminated slightly as are the driver and passenger doors just under the horizontal line along the door panels that meet the door handle. Does anyone know how to control these lights? I...

I have a 200 at Bell Road Toyota that I would like to buy but can't get to it until 8 October (I live in Denver and will be in Europe from this Friday to the 7th). Can anyone on MUD take a look at this thing and give me an opinion? Its a 2016 CPO with a clean Carfax. Before I send them >$60K...

Weird brake light behavior on '75 '40

Last night I noticed that when I applied pressure to the brake pedal the brake lights came on strong and as I continued to press the pedal they went off. If I lightly touch the pedal they work great. It seems to me this is a defective brake light switch (BLS) but I have never heard of this...

    Anemic heater

I find the heater in my new to me 100 to be a bit anemic. All the HVAC seems to work properly and blow from the right places, the heat just never gets really hot. Is this normal? I searched a bit but did not see this particular issue. Any help would be appreciated.

    '73 doors on a '75?

I have some really nice HT doors from my 73 '40 that I'm about to sell (the 40)and was wondering if these will fit on my 75 40 that I will keep. I did look in the FAQ and did search but could not find an answer to this. I would get a tape out but I am not near the shop with the 40s.

    New FJ40

I picked up this truck on Friday. It was a sacrifice sale. The guy had $80K into this thing (a have all the receipts) and I picked it up for a whole lot less than $80K. My wife insisted I buy it because she siid it would save money in the long run given the rate that I dump money into my...

    80 Forum Newbie question

Hi, I need another cruiser and was interested in the FZJ80. I saw one for sale on Mud in Pacifica and it looked like it had fold up third row bench seating. Was I imagining this? Is this standard or an option? Any help would be greatly appriciated...

    Which TC w/SBC and NV4500?

Any comments on this? Via the search function I see lots of combinations but no single one really is clear. This would go in a 40 so I imagine overall length is an issue considering the length of the NV4500.

    Which SBC?

I have a budget of about $5K for a new SBC/drive train parts for my '73 '40 . It currently has a '67 327 w/4BBL and the factory Toyota three speed. The 327 is rather tired and I would like to replace it. My goal is not to make an extreme rock crawler, but a very solid wheeler that I can use...

    Ram Horn SBC help

Near as I can tell (from block numbers), in my FJ40 I have a 1968 327 4bbl from a full size Chevy. I want to get ram horn exhaust manifolds as the headers that are on it at the moment create WAY to much engine compartment heat. I tried to buy some ram horns from EBAY but the seller was not...

Where to ceramic coat headers in Denver?

Hi, I recently moved to the Denver area and want to look into having my SBC headers ceramic coated. I get lots of heat from these and think they are contributing to vapor lock (its not too lean). Before I ditch the headers I would like to see about getting them coated. Using header wrap is...
