    rear wheel cylinders 1962

I'm looking if I restore the rear wheel cylinders or replace them. Can someone tell me the partnumbers? Are the 1962 brakes identical to later years? I have a 65 parts book. But SOR and cityracer are listing the rear cylinders for 63 and on, what makes me doubt if 61-62 are different. I see...

I'm searching for the springs for the front brake hoses where they hang on the fenders. Tried to order at Amayama, but NLA. Does anyone have an example of the original spring? Looking for the dimensions: length, spring diameter, wire diameter. Picture?

    carb insulator question

Our carb insulator is not so nice. The original part number (21911-60010) gives no result. What can be used as a good replacement for this? (1bbl)

    steel 4 blade fan

Our steel 4 blade radiator fan of the 62 FJ40 has cracks: I think we are lucky it didn't break. We borrowed the fan of our 63 FJ45V. It is in good condition, we cleaned, painted and mounted it on the 40. But... when we wanted to mount the radiator and shroud it didn't fit. This fan is...

The "what was plated and what was painted" thread

I'm about to prepare some hardware to take it to the platers. For some parts I can't find how it was treated originally. I thought I'd start this thread and try to make it a reference for everyone. When people have feedback I'm planning to edit this first post. I'll start with the axles and...

    camshaft question

The first "cam" of our camshaft was bad. We found a new aftermarket camshaft, 13511-60060, which should be the superseeded version of the camshaft in the F135. (All camshafts for F and 2F are equal?) Now the old shaft has holes in the bearing between the 2nd and 3rd cilinder. The new one has...
