Up for sale is a rear tire/fuel carrier bumper. It is like Kaymar style except much cheaper. The bumper is powdercoated. It hs 4 mounting point. 2 from the main bumper to the frame and 2 side wing bracket to side frame. It has pin lock on both fuel/tire carrier, so you can lock them in place once it is opened. It has telescoping rear light mount as well. Cost me quite a bit to import them though. I have imported a few just to try out if there is demand for it, I will make another shipment again if the demand is good. Fitment is excellent and very solid, design to flex with the frame. It is not design for rock, but should provide quite a bit of protection. This bumper has been proving itself in RainForest Challenge for the past 10 years and Petronas Adventure Team as well. $1250 plus shipping or you can pick them up yourself in Houston. I might be able to do free delivery from I-45 North to I-35 North along Houston all the way to Twin City, MN if the bumper fits in my Honda. Let me know if you guys have any questions :D

Steel thickness

The main mounting bracket with side bottom plate weld to the bumper : 0.6 CM
Main bumper : 0.4 CM
Side Wing : 0.3 CM
Bumper weight without tire: 130 Lbs

Since you are planning on selling multiples or gauging interest in a group buy, this would be better in the merchandice storefront. Still in classifieds, but up a section.

This will go to page two here rather quickly.

I may be interested... I am in Austin

Cool. You are welcome to drop by to check it out. I am in town from now till the 9th, after that I will be gone for a week. Let me know what you think or may be I can meet you half way somewhere on 290. :)

New picture with tire, telescoping light and license plate light added.

Interested and am in Austin as well, are you selling the stock you have or is this just for the next shipment?

Let me know -

Tucker

HI Tucker, I am selling for the remaining few I have. I only have 3 left as for now. Let me know if you want it, if so you can have one before I run out. I used to go to college in Austin, which part of Austin do you live?

arg, i just moved back from houston.

Bump for a nice looking bumper and good price.

I've been following your thread over in the 80s forum and I think it's great that you are providing another rear bumper option for folks.

The more options the better so I applaud your initiative on getting things rolling.

.

Just in case folks don't know what the bumper looks like, here it is (if Ranma21 doesn't mind my posting them).

And while I'm at it, close-ups of the wing support. Probably a little beefier than the Kaymar. Now, if you fully boxed it, that would be even better...

;)

I actually see several improvements/differences over the Kaymar.

1) better wing support

2) ability to use your existing tow hitch (which you need to get rid of if you get a kaymar)

If I were them, I'd ditch the diamond plate on top and go with something else (I prefer the all black look). They might also want to go with different shaped lights or something, just to distinguish from Kaymar.

Hey thanks for your commend. The diamond plate is good in the sense that it provide non slippery surface if you need to access the roof from the back or other application. May be the LED back light would be nice too. I like all black myself too :)

Id be interested in just the tire carrier swingout, is that possible?

Sorry, I don't have any extra swing out tire carrier. But may be a fuel carrier. I have 2 more set left. Anyone else want them ?:bounce:
