Anyone know what year FJ40 this came out of or if it is an FJ40 radio?

It may say Toyota on it, but I'm not sure it came from a 40 series.
not 100% sure, some others here will maybe know more.
 
I am gonna take a shot in the dark and think since the last 5 Digits of the part # begin with 35 that

it originally came out of a HILUX 2wd Pickup , since most other -35 # # # 's are pickup related

also , there was No 4WD till Late 1970's


from looks of it that's a 1971 - 1973 vintage perhaps o_O

do u know how to Bench Test a radio like that ?

lets see if this Puppy works or not :)

- antenna

- 1 speaker

- 12v B+ & Neg- low amp pwr. is all u need
 
while not a dead ringer , this Original 1968 Land Cruiser dealership sales brochure in my collection sheds light on

the vintage as being early 1970's

Thank you all for the input, much better suggestions and info than I’ve been able to gather from searching on my own. Sounds like you guys have narrowed it down quite well so I might be able to get rid of it with a little knowledge as to what it belongs to. Either way, good “old” or “vintage” Toyota radio.
