Radio hook up

Trying to hook up a radio\tape deck that was disconnected on my 82 FJ40 and can’t figure it out. Any tips on the wiring for the radio?

Not quite sure about the 82 fuse block but mine has a post that’s called Radio. It’s a 12v accessory circuit and you’d wire power to that. Perhaps that wire is already hanging out in your dash? Find it and connect the radio. If you don’t have a test light, get one to test that the wire is hot.

That should do it assuming your fuse is good and the radio works.
