The head and manifold are at the machine shop getting the broken studs removed and the head checked and cleaned. Fingers crossed it checks ok!

I prefer studs to bolts for the manifolds, and I only use Toyota studs...

I bought a good used 3F rocker assembly (towers, rod, rockers, etc.) with coordinated pushrods...have about 500 miles on a freshly rebuilt 2F, so far so good

Whatever they used as an anvil had those teeth to help keep it from dancing around while they peen the head.. Drill it out and do what you want.. If you get in a bind send it to me and I will put it back together for you..

Tried to use some of this yesterday and I'm afraid it has finally become too dry. My father loved this stuff and as far as I know this was the only can of it he ever had. May of either '68 or '69 date. Not sure I can bring myself to toss the can.
