I have not. Also I have installed a fuel pressure gauge so if it happens again I will know exactly what the fuel pressure is.

I have a 2006. I'm not saying this is the issue you are having but wanted you to be aware of it as you work through this on your end.

If you can make one that fits in the top section of the console lid I will be in for one.

When my pump was replaced my mechanic complained of this same issue with the connectors being different and fit issues. He insisted on getting the right replacement that would drop in. I don't know the part number that he ultimately used. Maybe this is a clue to some issue with the factory...
