Emma my younger daughter (about to turn 8) decided she wanted to go fishing and catch her first fish this summer. Made that happen this weekend. Tried Saturday on way back from horse riding lessons, had wrong bait and too big of hooks for the...

Fuel filler hose developed a leak after GSMTR. OEM filler hose, original to moonshine I believe, was so hard I had to use a monkey wrench to kink it in the middle to get it out. Amazon special fuel hose installed, although I should have cut it...

The top turned out amazingly well! It’s not quite done and I’ll bring it back to have some more Velcro and snaps sewn in, but it will be great for the upcoming trip. Manny at EST. 28 Upholstery did an outstanding job.

Production run... Drill each end; tap each end - one left hand threads, the other right hand threads; knurl the end with left hand threads; and polish everything up. They're rods for a body support kit for dune buggies with rod ends on either end.

Hit AOAA last weekend for 3 days with Keystone/COVA/Cap LC clubs, annual summer trip. 40 did great with new tires/wheels and hydro assist. Few little things to mess with before next trip, but overall I’m vey happy with how it’s behaving. Issues...

Forgot to put this up. Dad got a new to him F250, and wanted to weigh it. We also wanted to weigh the 40, so to the scales we went. This was before the 10 ply E rated 37’s and beadlocks, which have to be at least 50 more lbs a corner than the...

Moved to the fabshop to pull the body today (7/24/25) and strip the frame and get it ready for the motor mounts, new trans x-member and then off to powder.

The ‘runner 100% saved me. Front end slowly went up in the air several feet until the back quarter tapped your front fender. It was going over. I owe ya bud.

  • FuglyYota

That think looks absolutely mint. The options are impressive for 1976. Dual batteries, HD front axle, 4.10’s and limited slip rear, great stuff. Is it a closed knuckle Dana 60 front? Keeping the axles and drivetrain or upgrading? Looks like...

Well Rubithon update . The 40 ran up and down that trail so much I don’t even want to sit in it for a while 🤦🏻‍♂️. A couple things . I wish it got better mpg . But the new drivetrain sure is fun . I did have 2 hiccups. 1 when one of the...
