Bought this for the top for another customer's build. Just couldn't let it go to the junkyard.

Going to take lots of time and love to get this one back to square one. But the Scout is where I started my offroad experiences decades ago.

Evercoat new Optex 4:1 primer. Built in guide coat. Goes on purple/pink and sanded turns grey. Pretty slick and almost zero shrinkage.

Sanded to 800 Grit and ready to lay down the basecoat/clearcoat

Moved to the fabshop to pull the body today (7/24/25) and strip the frame and get it ready for the motor mounts, new trans x-member and then off to powder.

'74 dentside is headed to SEMA - BATTLE OF THE BUILDERS this year. Have another to do as well for another customer.

Frame is ready to weld the motor mounts and set the drivetrain so I can make the transmission crossmember. Then off to powder.

King shocks are ordered.

Tube for the rollcage is ordered (2" x .120" CrMo)

Tires are here and wheels should be delivered next week.

Gears, LSD and axle rebuild kits arrived. 4" lift leafs are in transit.
