Cleaned up and painted the Smittybilt rollbar supports and rear seat adapters.
I noticed the original sticker decal on the bar. Pretty cool. Haven't decided if I want to powder coat the bar to match the clean frame or leave it weathered to match...
Put a receiver on the back of the M100 with spare mount that has an additional receiver for the bike hitch. Needs about a 6” extension though and a couple hundred pounds of weight up front. The receiver ties into the nearest crossmember.

Four rigs — two 40s and two 80s — went for Engineer. The road was bumpier than Corkscrew but nothing tragic. My copilot was clutch at spotting lines — a huge improvement over my usual “hope and steer” method.

Driving across Texas in August was a learning experience. Had to stop and put piping insulation on the roll cage. Got hot to the touch once everything got heat soaked. Ran without AC coming up from Texas so I could go faster. Also the ac couldn’t...
Yep. Went with the Klever RT. I hadn't heard much about Kenda tires, but they seem to get pretty good reviews from Landcruiser guys from what I could tell. Time will tell. I dig the narrower 9.5" width though.
Handle is the transfer H-N-L.
Green light is the front drive indicator.
Front drive (4wd) is engaged by the knob under the light.
There is a hand throttle that should be above the choke.
Im missing both the choke and hand throttle knobs and cables.
Thanks. We've been in Argyle since 2013, prior to that over in McKinney/Frisco. Had to get out of the coming concrete jungle. Crazy how the sprawl is now making its way to lil Argyle. I have a freshman in HS and once he's done, we are...
Thank you. I struggled on making my decision to either keep the OEM freeborn red or change it up. I ran it by Mar, my Dad, and he was good with the change. That's all I needed to hear. It's a resto mod after all since I'm adding a few modern...
This was a one owner truck I purchased here in Bogotá. I have all the original documents from its importation from Japan. 🇯🇵 Additionally I have a full folder of service records, owners manual, tools etc. Original set of keys were also provided.
Found a knockoff 6.00 x 16 tire to match the others for a spare. It’s a Deestone, not a Firestone. Wonder where it comes from…
It’ll work as a spare and for less than half the cost of the Coker I figured it would be fine. I had the tire shop put...
I did order a bunch of hog rings from SOR, but after the first one I said F it and bought a bunch of zip ties. A hell of a lot easier for me, and I'd say why not. Note the zip ties here:
Then I screwed the freshly-painted back panel on:
I put...
It does Jim. Between the transmission and transfercase. There’s an interrupter on the shaft extension and I used the pickup from BP Productions (stand alone harness for 5.3) if I remember correctly.
All of the adapters are from AA.

On the trail at 0445 this morning to beat the heat. Have only been back on the bike for 3 weeks after having heart surgery mid May. Having had to deal with a collapsed lung, pneumonia and a lung infection post op slowed me down a bit but feeling...

That picture… 1000 questions. Where is that with RHD? What year are those rigs? Are they 40’s? What’s that on the front grill? What’s up with the turn signal lights snd bib lights? Only 994 to go…
