And after posting, I realized the person at the back of the pickup looks like they aren’t wearing pants! Was pretty sure it was someone in pinkish-purple yoga pants….
IIRC on one of my old cars, the dash knob had a spring steel insert that had to be released by poking a small tool into the hole and apply pressure one way or the other to release the knob.
Well done, much better than hacksawing it off. I was working on tearing down a wrecked Bell 204. They ran it out of gas logging in the Amazon. Anyway the guy working with me (an X Boeing inspector) dykes the wire right next to a connector for...
Been a little while. Works been getting it the way a bit, but have managed to keep a few things moving along.
Cleaned up the firewall and under tub, then seam sealed every last seam on the tub. Now there should be no chance of any water ingress...
And finally, the engine and new gearbox in the chassis on its own weight!
Was expecting the front springs to compress a bit more, but I'm sure they will settle some more as we add more and more stuff.
And had to clearance the tunnel a bit...
Trans tunnel.
Cut out all the needed space for the bigger H151, thankfully without interfering with the seat mounts.
Then i framed it out with 25x25x3 angle iron and then skinned it with 1.6mm plate. Nice and strong.
