Emailed for more info about 2 months ago, asking about acorn hubcap fit and whether they had already met their 100 rim limit, never got a response back. Made me decide to send mud vendor @Racer65 my money and take the steel vs aluminum weight penalty.

So I am glad this thread came up. I have seriously considering going to 16” from my 15” that has 33x10.5’s. Won’t the 16” w skinnies ride better and reduce rpm’s?

You’ll have a wider selection of tires with a 16x8 rim. The rim diameter doesn’t affect rpm, tire diameter does.

Ok maybe that’s why some are going to 16” I wonder if a 16” w a 255/85 would ride/ steer better than my 33/10.5/15?

I run 255/85r16 on stock splits ... they ride good... off by 10mph at 55 (your going 65) approx

44" super swampers will really reduce hiway rpms. Good luck getting them rolling with stock gears though.
