The only mechanical issues we had was that the Sequoia had a #2 coil pack fail, and for some weird reason my lug nuts got loose on the drive back. So lessoned learned, recheck those every few days when wheeling, and definitely before we drive home.
Another huge positive I learned from the new owner is that @Mistral had the conversion done at EBI. If I would have known that I would have done a “full court press” on the others I was pimping this truck to. I bought a 62 a few years ago with...
Man…I know, we all have one we wish we would have jumped on quicker. Had no idea our local friend was following the thread and he called me after committing to the truck. Super excited to see it when it arrives. I’m surprised it sat on the...
And I can tell you it’s going to a very good home!!! Seems we are breeding the 12HT’s here in Central TX :). The new owner is a great guy and a true 60 enthusiast
I won the catch can but since I don’t have an 80 series, donated it to @mesa man and @Mesa Woman
They, in turn, donated some funny tasting salad back.
I would love to stop by and see you sometime.
I am an A (YouTube) level mechanic after all.
This is why I missed this years event . I hope who ever won our catch can system enjoys it! We are seeking an A level Land cruiser Tech. Job and pay info
in the Employment section . Credit to Karl thanks for posting shop pics. I decided to...
I admit, I flinched. Twice.

Upgrade to a 1/2” 19x19 compacted rotation-resistant line and the yield...
@RodrigzCrzr check it out: it's the dreaded carb-killing hill coming up from Lake Como
I stalled out from where the photo was taken and you stalled out where the four-door 40 is coming up!
Annie wasn’t a fan of 4-wheeling, either. She loves to go on 1-2 night trips, but 2 weeks was a bit much for her. Halfway through the trip I met up with my wife and Annie jumped out of the Cruiser and went straight to our car.
You know what I love about this build (other than the 12HT, the color, year truck, full float rear, no rust)…the fact there’s no “rats nest” of wires visible anywhere. Very clean work.
How's the under carriage ? There is some surface rust . It rains a lot here in the Pacific Northwest.
Yesterday I used a scuffing pad and made a few pass with water on the frame.
Hey everyone, I'm looking at a 2013 Tacoma listed by a dealer that is located off 290 west of 35, is there anyone in the area with knowledge of these 2nd gens that would be willing to lay eyes on it for me? I will pay;)! Shoot me a pm! Thanks, Colby
Thanks, Catherine!
I wanted to let Kelby (@KSJ85) know that I put the FJ60 parking brake handle that he won from Cruiser Cult at the raffle to good use. This is an amazing community. I will order a factory 60 cable and an adapter to tie in to my...
