If you have not been to the website is awhile. Take a peek at Land Cruiser Nation and you will find a number of very nice US Spec FJ40's to look over. I also have a beautiful 1983 Beige FJ40 coming soon that is likely one of the best remaining...
Missions accomplished. Pool deck teardown progressed marvelously, and the old shop has been emptied into robs new property. Long day, but we got it done. Moved all four remaining vehicles, three engines, four transmissions, two dozen motorcycles...
Thanks for the heads up. I’ll remember that for next time. Surprisingly we just got a picture from a neighbor on the street of a very nice completed ramp. We still aren’t sure which contractor built it, but I’m sure they’ll bill us. Funny that...
Well she’s alive just need to figure out how to link a video. Added electronic ignition, new temp carb while I rebuild Weber, and replaced clutch hydraulics! Hope to test brakes tomorrow and then get fluids changed and see what else mechanical...
As we packed up camp on that chilly Sunday morning, Sean, who we had met a few days prior as he wandered the campground, stirred in his really nice LX 450 he was sleeping in. He opened the rear slider window and offered us all hats that he had...
Hey All,
Not sure if there are any interest in these but I have a few early starters and generators. All were working when pulled but they’ve all been sitting for at least 15 years now. $100 each plus shipping.
Luke got the Patrol reassembled and it’s back to being a runner - and this time on all 6 cylinders. The new Nissan forklift distributor replaced the original crusty one that was the source of our problems.
I was chatting with a guy that had some stuff I was looking at and he mentioned this swap meet. Looks pretty cool. Anyway, no affiliation, just thought I’d pass along.

One week of volunteer work helping out the forest service.
That post pounder is one heavy sucker, well over 100 pounds. Plus the generator and the 25 foot hydraulic lines. Hauled it all around the forest. Put...
I’ve come to the realization I won’t have time to do anything with my ‘73 FJ40 project anytime soon, so I’m offering it up here locally. I have some extra parts for it, the rig can be purchased with or without the extras.

Rob Bass and DJ E-Z Rock could not have put it any more eloquently than their “Joy and Pain” released in 1989. “Me and my boys, we make noise.”
Engine in. 60 cross member attached. Metal glue gun attached a few things.
I connected with Speed House in Durham when they came out to the relic run this year. I just had them do a major overhaul on the front knuckles on my FJ62 and I can't say enough good things about Steven and the crew there. I had the knuckles done...
Shout out to @Cirbo. Days from moving and with a half-packed shop, he nonetheless helped Luke this weekend tackle a roll bar project on his speedster. We never would have figured it out. Stay tuned for future race updates.
I was allowed to buy 1 souvenir on a trip to Alaska in 1980. This was my choice. It resurfaced during the estate sale.
Of course I came home with some ancillaries. Just gave the neighbors the weather forecasting moose 💩 😂
The little Patrol engine is finally at the reassembly phase. Thankfully the original head survived. Repaired with new exhaust valves, valve guides, and hardened valve seats. Hopefully the exhaust valves don’t eat into the head again. New head...
