Aside from their cost, longer life expectancy, lower fouling & corrosion. I have also seen slightly better mpg using scan gauge II (maybe due to better spark patterns). Easy to clean & reuse as long as the electrodes are not overly fouled or...

Any other observations with the iridium plugs other than lower temps?

I could do that since I just had the iridium plugs cleaned & are ready to go. Stay tuned

Yup, mine is the $15 air compressor filter from Home Depot. Only holds about an ounce but does the job! https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/diy-oil-separator-results.1314693/

Catch Cans are stupid simple, but people like to make $$$ and customers like shiny new things. Just get the inline plastic filter with stainless screen element from Summit or wherever and cut your existing vacuum hose going from the top of the...

306,000 miles. Delo 10w30, original engine/valve stem seals. 1000km trip at 65mph= very little consumption. Rolling hill country, 25-30 Celsius. Heavily loaded cargo. Very little oil consumption. Same return trip, same temps with less load...

You may find the check valve in the rear plugged also. Mine was and the debris was from the disintegrated diverter valve.

KEN IS THE MOTHERFǓCKING MAN…. I’m grateful and lucky to have him 3.5 hrs away…. Every time I learn something new from him. The best of the best. Someone who says who he is and actually backs it up. Very rare in our world. Worth every...

If you don't want to buy one, or don't think something is "worth it", or you think you can build one yourself for cheaper, then go ahead and do it, and allow the person selling these to go about their business—it's pretty simple.

Thanks to a member sending me a link to this thread! The Window Rocket is my product. I'll start by answering a few questions- Austin didn't do anything sneaky in his video. He's a stand up dude and calls it like it is. I told him about the...

Great idea! I just pulled them in my 93 and out flowed water both sides! I have a very steep driveway and lately I’ve been backing in. The other day I noticed soaked passenger floor. Ran trimmer line down, no obstructions, so I tried air next...

There is a very easy solution for wet floorboards: pull one of the two body screws holding the rear corner of the fender onto the body. You only need one. That will drain the pocket. If you depend on the rocker panel drains, you may be waiting...

Life is busy so when I pop into mud it isn't always over to the classifieds. Life is also chaotic right now, uncertainties and lots of unknowns. One of the few things that I can always depend on, is that there will be a new "toyotamatt" thread...

Many ways to skin that cat! I’ve used welding cable but the next set I do will be with Anchor tinned marine cable. Do it once and never worry again and there will be zero voltage/current drop due to oxidized plain copper. It also has a pretty...

They're about $2 each from the dealer. Can't see the logic in looking elsewhere. Bolt: 90105-11013 Nut: 90179-11005 Washer: 90201-11013 A full set of 4 will set you back $22.

Yea, I bought that years ago, but it doesn't fit my battery. I run an Interstate MTZ 34R, which is the same as an Odyssey PC-1500.

Good idea, wonder if people would want a whole new box or just a hold down? Doesn’t Landtank have an improved hold down? Either is not super difficult. Composite is easier imop for a new box design. A designed diy kit for improved OEM box is...

This sure seems like a product just waiting for development. How about making something really useful for the 80 as opposed to cupholders, shift knobs, and other fluff?
