    Cleaning your sunroof drains FAQ

Great idea! I just pulled them in my 93 and out flowed water both sides! I have a very steep driveway and lately I’ve been backing in. The other day I noticed soaked passenger floor. Ran trimmer line down, no obstructions, so I tried air next, could hear it exiting but with lots f water. I...

Main battery ground cable - replacement

Many ways to skin that cat! I’ve used welding cable but the next set I do will be with Anchor tinned marine cable. Do it once and never worry again and there will be zero voltage/current drop due to oxidized plain copper. It also has a pretty durable sheathing.

    Battery Box

Good idea, wonder if people would want a whole new box or just a hold down? Doesn’t Landtank have an improved hold down? Either is not super difficult. Composite is easier imop for a new box design. A designed diy kit for improved OEM box is probably an option also.

Your thoughts on buying a 80 series in 2025

Bought mine in 2019 and would buy it again today. 🍻 I’m able to pretty much fix most things, don’t pay people to fix it for me. I love working on it and it’s not my DD all year long, only in the summer. Since my baseline I just put in fuel and drive it, 5K miles per year.

How much can you machine the 1Fz flywheel? Nothing in the FSM other than replace if surface is out of spec. It’s a $7-800 part in Canada

Review of online parts from Japan?

I just used Amayama and Partsouq for my 94 pickup. Amayama took over 2 weeks. Partsouq was only a week. All orders were well packaged. Japan4x4 is about the same, plus Dave is a fellow Canadian. I needed head bolts for the 3.0. Local dealer wanted $34/bolt😳 Amayama was $10/bolt! That being...
