seems like a lot of splatter for the valley plate, especially on the underside of the skid plate. I’d look for a cooling line (or heater hose) that was damaged
New shoes! Rims from a Tundra ('14, I think?) and Michelin Defenders, 275/65/18. Rides real nice.
A few days ago, my wife and I picked up our travel trailer for an upcoming trip. At some point while we were disconnecting it, my AHC sprang a...
Have 8- 5 gal scepter MFCs that I would like to move along. They have been used for fuel storage with VITON gaskets and fully intact flange, cap, cap strap etc. Cans will need to be cleaned on the exterior from being stored outside. I’ll post...
So going back to page 1, new Bosch pads, new aftermarket calipers, new centric rotors, and this is when the issue started for all 4 wheels. I really suspect the wrong parts supplied by the auto parts store causing the brakes to drag.
@Wagoncruzer I had a new OEM thermostat several years ago that had similar symptoms. Put the old one (which had only been in for a few years previously) back in and temps went back to normal. Last year when I did my t-belt and WP service, I put...
I wouldn't flush with distilled water, you will have a hard time getting it all out. The SLLC is already diluted 50/50, so any water in the system will put you below 50%. As shown in the above post, the FSM says to just drain from the radiator...
That is really minimal damage.. appears it's only the connector for the alternator that is damaged. You got lucky.
Also, try to get as much of the fire extinguisher material off of everything as possible. If it was a typical ABC rated "dry chem"...

Early registration will...
Typically I'd say yes definitely give the JB Weld for a short trip, but 3 hours on the highway is too risky for me. Don't risk a $20k repair for a <$1k repair.
Well I may have just committed one of the most blasphemous acts known to planet Mud. But because I am doing this for ALL mudders' benefit, so you don't have to, hopefully it is not worthy of a Mud Excommunication. 😂🙏🏼😎
The sin---- > I now...
I just got back from Colorado where I took my stock 2019 LC with Defender LT and they performed superbly on both Cinnamon Pass and Engineer Pass on the Alpine Loop. There were a couple of spots going up Engineer Pass from Silverton that I didn't...
We charge around 1300 to 1500. But that's if things aren't rusty on the air injection manifold area. It can be a slippery slope once we get in there and find other things.
I do not know about the later models as I never drove one, but for 2013 my back-to-back testing experience is that yes, LX drives a LOT better on the road than the LC. It is not a slight difference. This is the biggest reason I ended up buying...
OK - so its a few years late - but I just snugged up the RH bank to 17 ft.lbs too - all plugs still tight (#3 maybe moved 1/32 of a turn) - am happier with 17ftlbs torque (up from 15ftlbs original torque....)
