Who cuts firewood?
How much do you cut annually?
How do you haul it?
How do you process it?
Do you burn it?

Post up what you have.

I don't have much for heating needs yet, just a stove in a converted granary that I use as a shop. Down the road I'd like to rely more on wood though.

Mostly Manitoba Maple and poplar around here, a fair bit of oak on a couple of the quarters. My needs will be filled for a a few years just cleaning up along the edges of pothole sloughs and bush patches in the fields, giving the renter a touch more acreage to work.

I've got a MS 170, a new MS 271, and a Splitfire splitter (splits on both strokes of the cylinder).

Oak tree snapped off on a steep hillside. I will define steep: When I cut a piece of firewood, it hit the ground and rolled down the hill and across the neighbors driveway and into another neighbors back yard.

I decided to use my tow rig and pull it around the hill to a flatter spot.
Yes, The Cummins powered Tow Rig.

It reluctantly came around the hill.
