Is that a water tank on the front bumper? Floatation device?
Details on the arb wing boxes?
Can we see some interior pics?

Aaron, it is a water tank. 6" aluminum tube that can be filled and then pressurized. I added a little post in the 50$ mod thread on the wings.

I'll ask my customer if I can post some interior pics.

Cleaned the shop today.. WOW that thing gets filthy FAST!!

After that I pulled Goss in and took everything out and started the carpet install. The kit turned out good. I had to cut 2 of my upholsters seams to allow for proper fit. No big deal. I will get the red nylon out tomorrow and hand sew them back up where they need to be. I imagine the old carpet we used as a template was stretched from wear over the years.

Couple of pic posts..

Tomorrow I'll get the seat covers on, wheel well cover (paint is drying now) and call @mel lowe to see if he has a good glove box door. I had one and somehow it got crushed in moving stuff around..

I will be bouncing back and forth from Goss to Tank (68-FJ40) over the next two weeks. Then I will dedicate about 2-3 weeks to Tank to get the frame stripped and painted, motor/trans installed, body work and prime and paint.

Lots in a short time... IN J-MODE!!!

How did you treat the lower portion of the back seat where there is no metal strip covering the edge of the carpet? Any pics there?

Jeff, I don't put anything there, I leave it bare. A strip there would always be in the way if sliding something in or out of the back.

You don't have a thing for red, do you Jason? I'll check in the morning. I saw a glove box door when I was going through some parts. I just can't remember if it was tan or grey

Always loved the red/black scheme... also being a Red Raider.. doesn't help the situation any... HA! I have it posted in the "wanted" section and have a hit on it right now. Awaiting price and pics from him.

Jason, if you can't find a glove box door close, i got a couple spare….

Thanks Pete, I'll let you know.

carpets looking awesome, J! fits in there perfect.

Full steam ahead. I bet that flat tired 40 was fun to roll into position. Good thing you lightened it up.

Mike, Super easy... put a floor jack under the front axle (for steering), wife pushed and I pulled, took all of a couple minutes from carport to inside. It's amazing how tight you can turn a vehicle this way.
