My 75 can carry a Bulldozer winch and still can speed up to 120km/ph....Tough truck ...I like it so much

What is the different between the spindle??:hmm:
Not really having the idea of swapping a 80 series axle, want the stock axle.:crybaby:

Hard to tell, I haven't had a 40/60 and 80 series hub or spindle side by side in a while. If it is shorter, longer, different circumference, you wonlt be able to bolt the 80 hub to it. Can you bolt an 80 spindle into a 70 series knuckle? And if you can bolt/attach what you want, I don't know if the 80's calipers will bolt up to the knuckle or if the rotor would line up with the caliper.

Also, to give you an idea on the rear hubs, the one on the left is a 70 series and the right one is an 80 series hub. Same overall length, but the flange for the wheel studs are offset. The good thing is with the 80 series hubs, I should be able to use the 80 series rear rotors and also I won't have to run the spacers I needed to run the tundra steelies. I got some el-cheapo 80 series rotors coming tomorrow via Advance Auto for the test fit. Hopefully I'll be in there like swimwear;)

Wong, do u use ur 75 to carry heavy load?
80 series axle is comfortable =D

75 is meant for carry heavy load. Of course I use it to carry my truck spare parts and 22.5 tires.:D
I don't really like the idea of welding and cutting on my chassis.

How much is a hzj 75 cost now?? Last year I brought one hzj75 94 on Rm32k

All depends on the condition of the cruiser. 91 model could cost more than a 99 model if the condition is super decent.

Show us your 75.

circumference should be the same as there shared the same bearing between 70 and 80 series.
I think the major issue lies heavily on the length of the spindle.
I'll try to check this out.:D

Another question, if you could bolt the 80 series hubs, calipers, rotor and everything lines up, will the 75 series master cylinder have enough ooomph to get the max benifit of the 80 series calipers? Kind of the same issue of people that swap the V6 4Runner calipers onto 40 series using the stock MC.

it is more expensive in sabah. hj75 RM30k-40k hzj75 RM40k-65. Wong's hzj75 worth RM80k but i bet he won't sell at that price

No worry! I'm using the 80 series brake booster in my 75 now. :grinpimp:
Is just a matter of compatibility of rotor and caliper.

Nice upgrade! Did you do the booster and MC? And what 80 did you get it off of? FZJ, HDJ? How was the swap compatibility wise?

When brought this 75 the tail lamp is already gone missing ,I keep search the OEM tail lamp but I can't get ...sad ..so have to modify a lorry lamp DV57 LED to fit the 75.......now my place got another one hzj75,the owner brought from Sabah when last time he work at Sabah the plat number is ST6636C with OEM PTO ,,,

We have the tail lamp selling here. Used or new is available.
Or you can grasp one at the used part shop around KL, mainly Dyna truck from Japan, exactly the same shape and pattern.;)

ST6636C plate is from Sabah Tawau, that's the place where I'm from. Should be the year 91 or 92 if not mistaken.

Mr Wong, planning to change the front leaf springs is so bumpy, can give me some advice?

You can consider coil spring if you want super comfort.
Personal view, nothing is comfort with leaf spring. If you insist on leaf spring, I would recommend Aussie aftermarket spring. OEM, dobinson............

Well, I tried to put the 80 series rotors on the 75 series axle and even with the 80 series hub, it still won't work. Two problems that I can see that stems from the difference in the rotors. The outer and the inner (PB drum) diameters are larger for the 80 series. For the overall diameter being larger, the parking brake backing plate/dust shield it smaller, so you cannot drop the 80 series rotor in without either bending or cutting off the lip of the backing plate. Second, the center hub/drum area is also a larger diameter, which may be enough that the parking brake might not grab the rotor.

I think you'd have to swap over the backing plate and maybe parking brake bits off an 80 series axle to fit the 80 series rotors on. Too much work just to fit an 80 series rotor when you use the same caliper:meh:

Fun experiment, too bad it didn't pan out:grinpimp:

Oh...u from Tawau ..I keep asking the owner sell his 75 to me but he say won't sell his 75 because already follow him almost 10years and the truck didn't giving him problem at all
Already ask one pair of FR leaf spring Brand King Spring price is around Rm2800 the only thing is worth to buy or not??
Coil spring?? Is using the original axle or change to 80 axle??
