Just got off the phone with Joey Rowlett, the bassist for Matt Stell and the Crashers, and he says they are good to go. They'll have plenty of their new CD's available for purchase too.

He also said they want to hit the trails with someone with an open seat, if they get there early enough.

Hotels/motels-is it better to just stay in Cookeville or try one of the 2 in Sparta?

Have you tried any of the bunk houses? When I called one of the 2 hotels in Sparta, it was more to stay there than in a bunk house.

I haven't stayed in either city. When I talked wit the park last week they had the big room still available. It was 75 per night. Only thing was it didn't have a shower. It's a really big room with a couple sets of bunk beds.
