When taking my door panel off, how do i get the window crank and door opener off the correct way? I need to get my old window crank out, which i know is possible. I also need the door handle on the outside and the actual lock where you put your key in. Are all of these able to get out to put into a new door(with no rust  )??

A couple plastic grocery store shopping bags work well also...

Just pull the bag taught & as you move it back and forth, sliding it between the window crank handle and the door panel (be sure to pull both ends of the bag so they are parrallel to eachother)... the bag will catch the clip and pop it off (sometimes along with the window crank). it works great & it's an inexpensive removeal tool.

You can use the rags or the grocery bags or for less than $5 you can get a tool made just for that. Available at any auto parts store and probably Wal-Mart too. I ground a notch in the handle and use that to remove the clips that hold the panel on.

Pete
