Drove it to the local dealer to pick up CV reboot kits for the 100 and they offered to buy it. Told him he wouldn’t want to pay what I would want for it but he didn’t balk when I threw out a number. To be continued...

Forgot to mention, sale will only happen for a new 70 project. If project doesn’t happen, no way am I selling

You're lucky. The guys at my local Toyota dealership don't even realize my 70 Series is a Toyota product.

Sad. Stevinson Toyota here in Denver is the local meeting place for Rising Sun 4x4 Club and there’s usually a restored 40 series in the showroom so they know what a Land Cruiser is.

Drove to Prudhoe Bay, AK via the Dalton Highway. the furthest north you can drive on the contiguous US highway system.

One maybe two carnage photos to follow. Just a small chip in the windshield, easy peasy fix. Then I sheared off the back end of my tail pipe. But the guys of Magtec up at Prudhoe offered to fix it right up and ushered me into their shop and welded it on the spot. Again photos of that to follow.

Lot's of custom work and fab on this FJ40 I am working on for a client. Getting far along with it.

Lots of custom work on this FJ40. I have completely redone the suspension front and rear, fully rebuilt both axles and geared them to 4.8, custom shock and steering damper work and lots lots more!

Cheers

Installed some triple bellow airbags in the rear to help with load carrying. Working range os 0 - 150 psi. They certainly help with body roll when loaded.

Also finished off my dual battery system. It uses a 100amp battery isolator with 400 amp override incase you need to use the aux battery to start the vehicle.

Its not the recommended battery for this application, but it was laying around and still 100%
