Man no. 1:1 transmission, 4.11 gears and 700-15 tires. I'm assuming they are 30" tall.

700-15 are closer to 29" tall. With that, we can estimate the ole 2F was turning 3525.25 RPM.

4287.46 RPM at 90MPH...I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to run my 2F that high.

The 2F stops making HP before redline making it less likely to ever blow one up unless you are dicking around in the mud or something.
Pretty sure you passed it when PIG hit the floorboard... Dog ears are sensitive to both high pitches and excessive RPMs.
I don't like to exceed 2200rpm @ ~60mph

This is the only FJ40 I have ever driven that is basically stock. I'm sure that even though it's not tuned right, with the header and desmog it's likely as close to stock horsepower as a new one would have been.
Granted it was a race motor, and was balanced and stuff, but I took my 2F to 4K on a regular basis, maybe a few hundred past on accident a few times, because it just kept making power.
The stock motor did seem to drop off after 3000 rpms.
