Started refinishing a set of Rock Warriors today for my truck. Just started with one as a test. Pulled the fake beadlock ring off, sanded it down, cleaned it again and finally a fresh coat of graphite paint. Pretty stoked about the result now to just finish 3 more!

Wow that after photo is the definition of wheel PORN:eek:

I have an update on trying to get the Tundra 20" BBS installed. I received my spacers from Motorsport-tech on Friday. They did not fit the front as they had no splines machined into them.

I called and whomever I spoke with asked what year land cruiser I had and immediately told me he knew what the problem was and he would machine me a new set of spacers for the front.

If you pick the Motorsport-tech BORA spacers: call them and confirm they are machining splines into the front spacers!

I will report back in a week or two when the new front spacers arrive on whether 3/4" is enough to clear the BBS wheels.

Beautiful. Do you know if the 305/60/18 fits with out a lift on a non AHC truck? I think that size looks great but the price is astronomical.
Shanester:
I am not sure if it fits without a lift, as there was an OME lift on the truck when I bought it, and I simply replaced the OME fit Slee's parts (and Total Chaos upper arms). The 305's did not come close to the rear of the front fenders, the usual rub spot on the 100's, so I think they would fit.

Thank you for posting this! I have a set of 1" spacers on order from them. I'll call tomorrow and make sure they are machining the splines into the front spacers.

What are your plans for front spacers ? Tires ? They will really look great with your color cruiser.

1" spacers on all 4 corners from Motorsport-Tech and 315/70 BFG KO2s. Tires should be here and mounted up tomorrow.

Just installed, no spacers. Running Tundra center-caps. Used my dremel to cut holes and trim tabs from inside for proper fitment.

Almost finished with my little Rock Warrior wheel project. Had the tires mounted today, just waiting on the wheel spacers to arrive.

Spare on the back give a good idea of how they will look. Tire size is 315/70r17 KO2.

Great results. You killed it. Those ko2's are beef cakes.

Now that garage door looks like it could be a problem when the rest get bolted on!

If it's between the garage door and the rack - Then it's a tough call but ..

The garage door is gonna have to go :D

Also report back on the ride.

With a significantly lighter wheel and all terrain tire I'm guessing the ride is going to be greatly improved.

Plus a wide foot print (315) and spacers are going to make cornering so much more fun.

Get ready to hammer the pinch weld

Actually I'm glad you mentioned it. I took some pics of my current spare 295/70r18 Nitto Trail Grappler against the new 315/70r17 BFG KO2 for reference. Both tires are brand new and never been run. It's hard to tell in pics but the current Nittos are actually a 1/8-1/4" taller than the BFGs and almost exactly the same tread width at 9.5". Crazy the difference in ACTUAL tire sizes between the different manufacturers!

BTW - No issues the the standard 7ft garage door with the Nittos so the "smaller" BFGs shouldn't be a problem

What an ass on that 100. Can you give any specifics on the exact rim or are they just 17" Rock Warrior rims?

Standard 17" Tundra Rock Warriors with the rings removed and repainted. Replaced the bolts to fill the holes left from the rings being removed.

I've moved to the racecar side of things but this is my trailer hauler at the moment...

Looks good except. It appears the big tire is blocking the passenger side brake/turn/reverse lights. Any plans to relocate/add additional lighting?

It's an illusion in that pic. The pass side is visible. No need to relocate.
