My new front wheel spacers from Motorsport tech showed up yesterday. They have grooves machined in them for hub clearance.

They don't fit. :bang: At this point I can not recommend this brand spacer to anyone. After sending me the wrong spacers originally with no hub clearance, it took a month which was way too log for them to send me the new spacers. Which still don't fit. Complete :flush: considering they're listed as land cruiser specific.

So they assumed you needed 5 notches to clear the hub when in fact it has 6 bolts... wow so they didn't even look at a picture. SMH...

Thank you! I knew about the slee spacers and that they would fit but I was trying to get the thinnest possible spacer. I didn't know about the just differentials spacers. I'll be ordering their 1" wide kit today.

Just differentials came through with a 1" set and they should be here tomorrow so I can get my wheels on before a trip to the mountains :D

Motorsport tech issued me a refund and said they now have their issue fixed. By buying a different brand spacer so they could copy the hub bolt pockets :rolleyes: anyway, enough :deadhorse: hopefully I will have pics of my Tundra 20" on the LX tomorrow afternoon.

TRD Rock Warrios with 285's. I put Spidertrax 1.5" spacers on to get the centers to work.

Any rubbing with 285's on the RW wheels? I've seen some that did, but a few that didn't IIRC.

When the wheels were turned all the way but very little.

I'd like to chime in here as fellow purchaser of the Motorsport-Tech spacers. I too ordered my 1" spacers in early January and received them about a week ago only to be disappointed when they wouldn't fit up front due to the hub nut cavities not being drilled correctly.

That being said I took detailed pictures of my issues and began a dialogue with the owner, Lenny Stahl. He immediately recognized the issue once he had reviewed the pictures and offered to do the necessary R&D on their end to build these right. We have exchanged numerous emails over the past couple of weeks and I've expressed to him our community of 100 series owners' the demand for other spacer thickness options besides 1.25". To date he has now purchased the proper machining equipment to bore the cavities in the correct location of the 100 series front hubs and will be able to machine spacers of any thickness down to .75". He's currently machining the first "correct" set of 1" spacers that I hope to receive next week. He's also machining me a set of 10mm slip on spacers to have on hand incase the 1" spacers don't work out.

Yes, this has been a long process and a bit frustrating but I really feel in all honesty they had no specific experience with the uniqueness of the 100 series front hubs and it was just an oversight on their part. Based on my conversations with Larry I'm confident they will soon be offering a full line of correctly fitting spacers for our trucks.

For the record I have no affiliation with Larry or Motorsport-Tech over and above a being a simple customer like the rest of you. I am however committed to the 100 series platform and always glad to see another vendor support it. For any of you that have the wrong spacers in hand I would encourage you to take pics of your spacers and reach out to Larry. Feel free to reference this thread and my name.

I will report back once I have the new spacers in hand.

Hopefully this is helpful to anyone in the market for spacers.

Steelman, do you have any pics of your 100 with the RW's? The back side looks great. I have the TRD wheels on my 80 and I'm thinking about painting my rings black. I haven't seen anything else of yours but I'm sure it's a great looking rig.

@10ga Nice looking 80! Unfortunately I don't have any pics of the RW's on my truck yet. They are just sitting in my garage collecting dust while I patiently wait on the spacers. I'm hopeful I'll have some next week.

I took the rings off altogether and refinished in the wheels in a slighter darker graphite color and then just reinstalled the bolts.

Thank you sir, I'm really happy with the TRD wheels. I like the look of the RW's without the rings and had thought about doing the same with my 100 before I sold it. Make sure to post some pics of the finished product, I would really like to see it.

Here's a little better pic of my 80. I actually stuck it on the classifieds to see if anyone wanted to trade for a built 100 but I've about talked myself into keeping it and just buying an older 100. We're wanting to take some trips out west next year and I don't really want to drive the 80 that far is the only reason I was thinking about trading it. My wife likes it as much as I do so tonight she gave the okay for keeping it and buying a 100. I need to do it while I have her in the right frame of mind.

My spacers from just differentials arrived today and I got my Tundra BBS installed.
That looks great, will have to find a set of these to replace the horrid chrome wheels the 570 I am picking up for the wife comes with.

I bought mine from eBay. If you search tundra BBS 20 they are easy to find. He offers them in a few different colors.

Looks great!! What size tires did you go with?

They are 275/60r20. I wish now that it took so long and I've had time to assemble all necessary pieces for an AHC lift that I had got the 275/65r20s though. I would much rather have the 34" over these 33".
