Another dealer selling an LC. This time out of Little Rock, AR. They're website listing stated "KBB Value $22K", but when I ran it it showed $13-15k. Just a precaution to anyone looking or that has looked at this particular LX470. I went in this afternoon to drive it and make a deal. It shows common cosmetic wear for the age, but no rust. HOWEVER, once I sat down and had the sales manager pull the service records aside from Carfax, there was a compiled list of nearly $5k in repairs needed. The manager would NOT come down from its $17,500 price at 148k miles. Nor would he factor in ANY repair costs. He stated, "being sold as-is". Thats fine, but selling a vehicle without disclosing potential risks if repairs not taken care of is a HUGE liability.
When I drove the vehicle I instantly realized it needed a lot of repairs. It was swaying all over the road, nasty grinding from the hubs...

Due to the fact I have a 70, Tacoma and Hilux and need something better on gas for my commute, this needs to go. I hate to get rid of it as it’s been rock solid for the year I’ve had it. It has 320k on the clock but needs nothing and runs, drives and shifts great. I have a stack of records from ACC and World Toyota. PO wrote that the TB was done at 285k, but he didn’t have a record for that so take it as is. There is NO RUST on this rig and it needs absolutely nothing. I put LEDs on the inside, swapped the heater Ts to brass and kept with the maintanence. The radiator is new as are the Cooper RTX tires. The underside is dry as a bone.
