Original owner was an older gentleman that drove it for the first 275k miles of its life (basically just the break-in period). Owner before me purchased it for his daughter who used it as a school commuter for a couple years before selling it to me in September 19. Bought this car with the intent of owning it forever and turn it into an overlanding rig, but recent changes in my financial standing are making me liquidate. Only known issues are that it needs and O2 sensor (CEL light is on for this reason) and will probably need new tires in the near future. Has a new timing belt in the last 10k miles. 3rd row seat are currently removed but I have them as well as a couple extra air filters.
I am in the very early stages of searching for an LX470 and someone recommended this forum as a start. Its a shame that my very first post has to be a warning about a scam, but if I can help out at least one person, it'll be worth it. Fortunately, the scam doesn't originate from this forum, but rather Autotrader (and maybe other classified ads). The vehicle being "advertised" is a 2005 LX470 with approximately 70K miles and the seller is asking for $12.5K. The ad will show the vehicle with NJ license plates. Once you contact the seller, he'll tell you it was his dad's and because the seller is currently deployed, he is using a dealership to help sell the vehicle. Unfortunately, the time has come to sell - 2004 LC in Imperial Jade Mica/Tan Leather. I recently purchased a house, and am consolidating to one vehicle.
Spent a lot of time looking for the right truck when I made the purchase - it is mechanically sound, and while it hasnt been pampered its whole life, its in great shape. I presently drive it in the Spring/Summer/Fall only, and usually about 2 or 3 days a week. A vast majority of its life it was owned by 1 individual who lived in Texas, and eventually moved to Utah before selling it to me in March '18.
While it is presently located in Buffalo NY, it has never seen a NE Winter, and is originally a Texas truck. I will provide some more detailed history and update...
Selling 98 lx470 needs much of the standard maintenance done such as timing belt. Brand new master brake booster assembly and starter recently added.. Needs some tlc feel free to shoot me any offers will give any offer serious considerations. Master window switch just stopped working pretty sure it’s something with the doors wiring.
This truck came out of Texas to me at 78k, in about the same shape it's in now. My wife has been the primary driver with some occasional snow and family beach trips. It has given me the typical LC treatment, just add fuel, change oil, and drive.
I've never been a hard record keeper, but a long time Land Cruiser and Toyota enthusiast. The truck is solid, runs great, just has a little cosmetic wear here and there, nothing more than expected for a used truck with this age. No rust, minimal surface corrosion, once again as expected for age. Changed timing belt personally with the water pump, thermostat, drive belts, and new hoses at approx 100k.
Has a new Denso alternator on as of last late winter. Does have a check engine light on at the...

I bought this LX470 in factory form in 2016 with 146k miles on it. In the 4 years since, I have been extremely happy with it, however I need a daily driver that is a bit more practical for my current commute situation. This vehicle has never left me stranded, never given me any major issues, and has been an amazing all-around utility vehicle. I’ve completed all the milestone maintenance as well as replaced wear and tear items when needed. I change the oil every 4,000 miles with Mobil 1 synthetic. It is my daily driver, so mileage is likely to increase.

We have decided to let our beloved '07 Land Cruiser go. It's always been a PNW vehicle, so NO rust. We purchased it several years ago as a Toyota Certified vehicle with about 40k on the odometer. It now has approximately 163,000. Prior to our ownership it was serviced at the Toyota dealer and over the last 9 years it has been serviced at our local Lexus dealership. Clean Carfax. 2000 Lexus lx470. Needs nothing. It is in excellent condition and runs like a new truck! Lots of highway miles. Maintenance has been regularly performed — brand new suspension at around 115k miles. The timing belt and water pump were done at 195k miles. No off-road use except for a few dirt roads. Just had the oil changed with synthetic oil, engine doesn’t burn any oil. Clean Interior! COLD AC. I just had my mechanic check everything out and it's good to go. Not selling the Tent and Thule bars with the truck. Asking $7600. Thanks

Its time so sell my Mother in Laws Land Cruiser..... The problem is I don't know how to come up with what she is worth so I am going to ask for your guys help as well on this.
2002 Land Cruiser with standard sun roof, roof rack, center locking diff only, heated seats you know, 295k, always serviced on time and to the max "whatever the dealership said it was done", never taken off-road just used as a daily.

I am looking into getting a 200 so two of my rigs are for sale. This 1998 Lexus LX470 is all original and in great shape. Have maintenance records from day one and even have the dealership window price sheet. Have all four original keys, manuals and a folders containing more than $10k of maintenance performed over the years exclusively at Lexus dealerships.
I acquired my LX from a friend which was the second owner since 2016. He bought a RX350 for his wife and I became the new proud owner. The interior is complete with no rips on the leather and no major stains or wear. The exterior has some normal wear and scratches but I would say that it is above average.

Looking for either a black or riverrock mica LX470. I'd prefer 2000 and newer. I'd also be interested in Land Cruisers (even back to 1998 if they have the rear locker) as well but I kinda like the poshness of the LX. Little to no rust is always good and mods are welcomed, especially lifts. Sub 200k miles but could be interested in sub 250k rigs if well maintained.
Budget is $10k. If its on Facebook, CL or any of the major sale sites I've likely seen it already.
Not opposed to traveling but my schedule only allows for it on the weekends.
