I am selling my 1998 Tacoma. It is a 2.7l, 4wd, auotmatic with manual windows, locks and manual locking hubs. The truck has 156k on it and is in excellent condition. I bought it from the original owner and have only done a few things to it. Replaced the cracked exhaust manifold with the updated one, put the original size Toyo AT3s on it (not sure why PO had smaller ones on there?). The truck is completely stock with no modifications except for the aftermarket cruise control that actually works. Frame and body is clean and rust free. This has been a Texas/Oklahoma truck its whole life and hasn't been abused or neglected. I am asking $11000.

A number of 'wanted' threads out there so why not another?! Notably I will also be posting in the 80 series section too considering I'm in the market for either a Tacoma or an LX450. For me, I'm looking for a Tacoma (frankly any model year), and preferably in the Southeast considering I'm in SW FL. However, I'm willing to travel beyond the SE region, if necessary. I'm seeking one that's in excellent cosmetic & mechanical condition, as well as, recently fully baselined considering my intent is to drive it home. While it's subjective I'm willing to pay a premium for the right one. A few other characteristics more specifically: -Less than 150k miles -4 doors -No rust -All exterior colors with the exception of red -No dents/dings...
Howdy! The time has come to finally part with my Tacoma. I know I'm going to miss it, but I just have too many vehicles at the moment. I could also use the money for other projects. Key stats: - Asking $28,900 - 79k miles - Silver Sky Metallic - Factory tow package and factory navigation radio from a 2015. I did the firmware update so no more stupid restarts. That was super annoying, but is now fixed. - Backup camera, Entune, bluetooth, yadda yadda - Stock except for mods you can see in the photos - ScanGuage II with OS handle mount - Tekonsha trailer brake controller - I'm the original owner - Clean CA title in my name - Haven't had to smog it yet, but will for CA buyers - Always maintained on time, mostly by me since warranty...

What's up guys, I'm putting my former Alaska rig up for sale or trade. This was my 'sleigh' for 18 months in the Interior, and it performed laudably. But, the 62 series is taking up all my wheel time again so the Taco has to find a new home. I'm negotiable on price, so don't beat me up too bad if I am on the high side. I am the third owner, the previous two were both adults and non-smokers as well. The truck was originally purchased and lived the first 12 years of it's life in Washington State before it made it's way into Fairbanks, AK. I purchased the truck for quite a premium since everything in Alaska is well "Alaska Pricing." She is not part of the frame recall population, VIN photo and typed insert in the body of the ad...
Due to the recent addition to the family, I am forced to sell my 2004 Tacoma TRD... I really wish this had a rear babyseat lock. I'm a die-hard Toyota 4x4 fan and was a mechanic on all things Toyota in South Africa/Botswana. Back stateside, I hunted for a good candidate Gen 1 for a few years before I came across this truck. I purchased this truck right before the Toyota frame recall expired and had Toyota rebuild the truck from the ground up to the tune of $18k (I have the paperwork for proof). This means that the frame, suspension, brakes, power steering equipment, etc are new (less than 2 years old). During this time the motor was rebuilt/serviced as well. Basically if you are looking for a mechanically perfect Gen1 adventure truck...

2003 Tacoma 9,950 it is time to sell my 2003 Toyota Tacoma double cab 4x4 TRD with 181,000 miles It has been a great truck for me. I bought it in November 2012, with 71,000 miles on the odometer it now has 181,000. I am the third owner of this truck. The previous owners were in Pennsylvania and took the vehicle to the dealership for every oil change, warranty work, recalls, and service for the first 70,000 miles. When I bought the truck, I was living in Atlanta, Georgia, so the truck moved south and out of the Rust Belt. I now live in Texas and have for the last 8 years. The underside of the truck was treated by the previous owners, and the frame was checked out by the Toyota dealer and passed when they replace the spare tire holder...
Also Posted on local Craigslist.. but y'all seem more upstanding. 2000 Toyota Tacoma SR5 Xtracab 4x4 (not the TRD model) 189,xxx miles 2.7 L 4 cyl DOHC engine (Timing chain, not a belt! Never needs to be touched) 5 spd manual transmission w/ 2 spd transfer case (2H, 4H, and 4L) This truck is 100% manual- transmission, windows, locking hubs, etc. Runs and drives strong around town, on highways, and on dirt roads. I have road-tripped all over the southwest with no problems, often using it as a base for camping. It will easily do 85 mph at ~3200 RPM. I can pull 25-30 MPG if I’m careful on slower highways. Regularly serviced (oil changes, fluids, and other mechanical needs) Silver/Grey Paint/Interior Black Softopper Shell (convertible!)...
