I did some electrical work for a friend and ended up with this truck as payment. It is all there even the rust. I was told it starts, 304 V8, but the gas tank is in the bed. It has a title that has been signed by the person he traded with.

The time has come to sell my 60. I don't drive it nearly as much as I should and my wife just bought a new car so something has to go.
The 60 is very clean, the cleanest I've seen. With the exception of a cd player and a Weber carb, the Cruiser is just like it was the day it rolled off the assembly line.
The Cruiser starts up and runs beautifully, drives straight and true with no noises or rattles. It drives as good as any new vehicle I've ever owned. The engine makes no noises and has good power. The transmission and transfer case both shift very smoothly. Everything in the truck works as it should and the air blows very cold. Here are a list of the specs:

So I've got the itch to buy my first Cruiser! I'm looking for a Alpine White mid 80's Fj60. I'd like to find one that is rust free and has recently passed emissions or would be able to pass. It would be a weekend/daily driver and hopefully have a decent interior. I'm a rookie mechanic but with sound advice and this awesome site I'd be able to limp thru most projects. Any advice as to where to find a decent Cruiser?

i would prefer a 2500 that has 5spd pw, pdl, and is an extended cab
it doesnt have to have PW, and PDL but id prefer it.
it must be extended cab or larger, and in good running and drivin condition and ready to be taken anywhere. Id prefer a stock truck but will consider others. Id like it to have under 250k miles and preferably less than 150k

Daughter has a very nice 91 Nissan NX2000 that she now wants to sell or trade for a truck. car is a 5 speed, t-tops (factory) and has AC but needs to be recharged. Brand new tires less than 6mos ago, runs great and ready to go. This was Nissan's answer to the Honda CRX-Si and with the SR20 motor is a nice little rocket. Cash price is $2650 or trade for 4x4 truck - she likes Rangers, Toyota cruisers, pickups & 4 Runners, Amigo's and Sidekick/Samurai's. PM with what you have or any questions.

2001 100 Series Landcruiser - Original Owners
It's white with tan leather interior. 110k miles - family car, never driven off-road. Have recently replaced battery, alternator and right front wheel bearings. Tires are in good shape and will not need to be replaced for a long time. What was once a family in need of a Landcruiser has become one with kids away at college or living on their own. I found Toyota truck and also have a Sequoia so my daily driver Hyundai is up for sale.
It has 101,xxx miles but had a dealer warrenty engine rebuild at 50,000 .
I just put a new cataletic converter, O2 sensor, exhaust manafold and major tune up, 4 new tires last month.
Passes emissions, runs awesome, AC blows cold, pretty clean car but nothing fancy.
I am only selling this car to get some quick cash to buy more stuff for the truck I just bought I would trade this car for some of the items I am going to buy anyway. I need a ARB for the rear of a '90 pickup, aARB or Engel fridge, Aux. fuel tank from Downy, aftermarket torsion bars, underhood welder, ETC.... you get the idea.
