Brief Background:
Purchased in early 2019 as a bone stock non-runner with 320k-ish on the clock. It included a known good running 1fz from a ‘97 that had been wrecked. I did the motor swap as well as a whole slough of maintenance during the swap. More on that below. I have carfax on my 80, and the 80 that the 1fz came from. The salvage motor had a last reported mileage of 158k in 2017 and was reported salvage 10/2018. So while actual engine miles aren’t quite known, I would guess they are in the 175k range.

Selling my 1994 80 series. I am the third owner and have owned the truck since 2018. In that time, I have put nearly 90,000 miles on it. Truck has been owned in Colorado and Wyoming has been garaged kept, regularly serviced, and runs great. Body has some hail and other minor damage. Interior is very clean with the exception of the front floor mats which have worn patches. Radiator and distributor are new in the last year and tires are low mileage. Check engine light is on and returns error code 71 for EGR system. It has been a reliable daily driver.

I am selling this 1997 Lexus LX450 for a customer of mine. It was discovered to have a blown head gasket. No water/oil mix, but instead the cooling system is pressurizing with exhaust gas. The compression has been checked and all cylinders are between 170-175. The system doesn’t pressurize until it is warm. It was noticed on the first warm day.
With that said, the LX runs and drives very well. It has 266k, no rust on the body or frame. It is NOT locked. It has an Ironman 2” kit with foam cell shocks and 30mm front spacers.
