1983 FJ60 with less than 5k on engine. 4 speed transmission 4x4. Everything works. Carb needs rebuild or just put a new on. It runs and drives fine but carb needs attention. New 33 inch tires. Interior is in decent condition. It does need an ac compressor and dryer. I found one online for $300 but never got around to it. One catch: I do not have the title. A bank paid me to haul this off of a property about 3 years ago and the owner never came for it. After about 2 years of storage fees, I decided they would be stupid to come pay so I made it a toy. This is a 1985 that was converted to a GM 350 V8 TBI (fuel injection) at 164,000 miles in 2001. It now has 209,000 miles (45,000 miles on the engine) and runs great. The Exterior has NO RUST! and the undercarriage has minimal light surface rust in small areas. It has a Ranger Overdrive on the original 4 speed manual transmission, aluminum radiator, dual electronic fans, single 3" exhaust with a Magnaflow muffler, and 31x10.5 Big O A/T tires that are about 15,000 miles old. I have an old 1984 FJ60 that fried an ingniter pack. I am NOT mechanical and have decided that it is not worth my time, frustration and expense to have it converted to HEI ignition. It has rust and I would consider it a parts truck with some good components including....

I am getting ready to sell my 85FJ60. I have decided that I do not want to put in the time required to fix and control the rust... (I HAVE cut out and replaced the driver's side rear wheel arch dogleg and I have the other side ready to install). I have purchased a relatively rust-less "new" 86FJ60 that will become my wheeling truck. My lack of motivation to do the rest of the de-rust work is your opportunity to get a great base to build a truck of your own.
Over the years I have done lots of "stuff" to this truck so you don't have to. I am going to be swapping off most of my "goodies": winch, diff/lockers, front/rear bumpers etc. What will be left is a very good running 2F that has been Jim C desmogged, a rebuilt carb, rebuilt starter...

I'm selling my 62. 303,8?? miles on the odometer. Only put parts on her from the dealer, Specter or Man A Fre. $7600 in receipts for hard parts dating back to 2005. The BFG Mud Terrains cost another $1000 and have about 3K miles on them. Everything works except the rear defroster (it's the glass, not the switch) and the rear window washer. The driver side rear lock sometimes has a fit and the front passenger started doing the same. The front passenger door window switch should be replaced, too. There is a small oil leak at the back of the pan (either the rear main or oil pan gasket) but it's very small and has never gone low.
Truck passed smog last year and I got it smogged again so there's a VALID...
