1977 Fj40 SOLD SOLD SOLD
I bought this from a man in Nevada in 2004, I assume thats where it is from because it had very little rust. It was bone stock and in need of some love.
I took it down to frame and built it up from there. I have done all the work on this rig except the exhaust was done by a shop.
I tried to keep it FJ40 as much as possible (non-adulterated)
The 40 and all the work done on it is very clean and functional. I have put 6300 miles on this rig since I owned it. Every bearing, seal etc.was replaced all new.
There is no rhino/bed liner on this rig
This truck will drive 75 mph down the highway all day long, it has beautiful road manners.
This FJ40 won the "Most Technical" award at Cruise Moab 2008

I picked up this rig about a year ago after sitting for some time and got it back out on the road. I had big plans for it but they got held up by school so its time to let it go. Needs a little TLC but runs and drives just fine.

Ever since I attended the annual Pismo Beach event, I fell in love with the FJ45 pickups. How much does an average fj45 cost???
I'm not mechanically gifted so I want something that runs nice and needs a little TLC.
This is the same fj40 that was in nj a few weeks ago. I bought it to take to gsmtr but trailer broke and I didn't get to take it. I paid $800 for it and hauled it to ky. Clear title. I did put a used battery in it I had. I also bought shocks for it for $50 off Alex. It runs. Sometimes the float sticks but you can drive it in the parking lot. I did spray paint it. Rattle can while drinking beer. This is a beater or parts piece. I won't take any less for I have a farm it can go live on. The tub is toast. Too many projects right now. Yes seats go with it but need to be mounted. Tires hold air. $975 and not a nickel less. Will consider trades. Located in Glasgow ky. 406-788-5998.

75' fj40 with a 2f out of an 83' fj60 @approx 150k. Runs strong with rebuilt carb by forum member. Tub has little rust, top and doors need work. Have aluminum tail gate with tire carrier and bikini top. Have axle seals and front disc brake kit ready to be installed with extra bin full of parts. Call 206-229-1448 and ask for Matt. stock 3 spd, rancho shocks and small shackle lift. Paint is good except where diamond plate was removed.
Over 12K invested. needs a little rust repair in the usual places, rockers and rear sill, I've repaired the quarters. When I got it it had diamond plate all around and found the rust when I removed the plate.
Have most all parts for a FJ60 ps install also.
Rig is located in San Antonio Tx.
