I can only drive one at a time anyway. If it doesn't sell then the 4BT80 will go on the block... I would love to keep it. I wasn't even looking for it when I found it and blew my toy fund on it because as any of you I had to have it when I found it!! Talking to a guy that has a ranch in Colorado that wants...
Diesel BJ40 Land Cruisers
If you are looking for a diesel Land Cruiser, I can get one for you here in Costa Rica. All BJ40s cruisers in the US that are the regular Left hand drive have originally come from here or South America because the US didn't allow these imports back then. Having said that. Most of the cruisers here have 95% or less rust, lower mileage, mostly original, have clean solid bodies, and strong engines. There are a lot of really nice Land Cruisers here.We only look for the best. So if you are looking for a diesel Land Cruiser, we can get one for you. The price runs around $12,500 including free shipping from Costa Rica to your door, also included in the price are all fees, taxes, ect. Florida people can subtract $500 from the price because the...
1979 Restoration project - Portland, OR.
1979 two owner stock FJ40 restoration project for sale. Have had this rig for a long time and always wanted it to be my keeper. But time, space and life changes are getting in the way. Restored late model rigs are demanding high prices. Someone do this rig right! The Good: ~ Rig is completely stock and uncut. Never had a stereo (has little plastic stereo din cover) or doors cut for speakers. Two owners (first only owned it for a year). ~ Tons of new OEM parts purchased… gaskets, seals, pumps, filters, shift boots, motor mounts…etc. all included ~ Everything is there. Complete rig. ~ Motor ready to be pulled ~ Jim C rebuilt carb and recurved distributor included ~ All engine component nuts, bolts, brackets tumbled/cleaned...
1977 Toyota LandCruiser FJ40 for sale. Located in Provo, Utah 84604. Hello to all forum members and visitors. I have decided to part with my 1977 FJ40—it has been a long and expensive story. I bought it from a gentleman in Tennessee (head of TSA for the state) who had himself overseen a full frame off restoration that included an aluminum tub, major mechanical repairs, etc. I had nothing to do with any of this and many of the photos are just after its off the frame rebuild but before I began a second extensive set of modifications. Let me know what you think of the vehicle. I welcome advice for selling it. I am Geneva, the vehicle is in Utah and I am just not getting to enjoy it as I had hoped I would. See photobucket here...
I'm selling the 40 to fund the purchase of a Pig. Price: $6,500 I bought this truck about five years ago here in D.C. from a guy who'd just bought it out in Montana and brought it back. Best thing is that this truck starts up first time, every time. Original 2F – desmogged, odometer reads 11K - probably 211K Crane Cams Fireball electronic ignition Pre-73 distributer Front bucket seats Rear bench seat – not installed Extended shackles 32x10.5 Swamper Radial TSLs on 15” black steel rims Disc front brakes from later year cruiser Aisin hubs Sliders bolted to the frame (made by Belowdeck Fabrication) Later style tube tire carrier Set-up for dual batteries with isolater and large tray Line lock on rear brakes Wooden deck for lockable...
FJ40 - built, great shape. Utah
Clean, good running Toyota Land Cruiser. Fuel injected V8, SM420 transmission with the low first gear, heavy duty axles with 4.10 axle gears. Rear ARB air locker. SOA and shackle reversal. Very minimal rust (some, but very minimal). Full roll cage, Corbeau seats, good clean drop seats. Passes inspection, doesn't need to pass emissions because it's a 1966. I'd call it an 8 out of a 10. Runs and drives great, will do 70-75 on the highway. No top, second set of 1/2 doors included (not seen in photo) Asking $9500 I can also possibly deliver it to Cruise Moab if needed as well. But I would need at least 1/2 down. thanks, Andre
1974 FJ40 ORIGINAL SOFT TOP-fresh restoration - NC
I have a 1974 FJ 40 that is just getting the finishing touches on a frame off restoration. This was originally a factory soft top model - now has hard top. It has a 1970 F engine installed that has about 50,000 miles on it. Carb has been re-built. Has a 3 speed floor shift transmission. It has a 4" Skyjacker custom lift, front disc brakes, custom front and rear bumpers and power brakes. The entire vehicle was sanded to bare metal. Has very little bondo - was finished like it was when new - with riveted areas visible, etc. I did not want to cover the whole vehicle with filler. Looks great. It is also equipped with an original front mat, later model tilt wheel, front and rear heat, new gas tank, complete new exhaust, new headliner, new...
Here's one that might have potential. Original white with respray on the outside. Has some rust in the bottoms of the doors and rockers. Owner says the smog stuff is still there as is the original carb. Also has original steel wheels. Has AC, but doesn't work. Also has soft top, but he doesn't know what kind it is. Owner has had it for over 7 years and is a nice guy who's willing to deal. He already knows the bezel is upside down. :p http://chattanooga.craigslist.org/cto/3593549895.html
