Also, in case you missed it in the build, the air box is standard UZJ200 air filter from any US dealer and plenty big enough to breathe for the 1HD-FT.

@SNLC Ian does this fit the earlier windshield frames as well? I was told it was for the later models and if used in the earlier frames would have to be cut down. Just trying to get an actual answer from someone.

Looked back at your pics and see you’re using a later model windshield frame.

That is correct we are using a later windshield frame. So yes @Unimogguy this works for late versions of the wind shield frame but not the older versions. It is available through the Toyota Heritage program.

Pictures spam inbound!

Know that I am a very very proportionate guy when I build a Cruiser. Pictures can make things look weird compared to when you stand next to it.

When it comes to height, width, stance, overall look and proportions…this Cruiser nails it! Sure we could do an inch narrower per side on tire and wheel combo and we could also do 1-2” taller but for a run of the mill 315 tire and wheel combo it looks fantastic in person!

Alrighty that’s it for now. We will probably try and get it outside of the shop tomorrow for better pictures, even park another Cruiser or two next to it for comparison. The owner is still considering a different tire & wheel combo!

We had all new door glass cut. On top of that we had the hardware for the wing-vent window chromed. Also new weather stripping for all of it!

No rattles in these doors! Pretty rad!!

Now I know “what lies beneath”! Is some sort of old saying, right? Standing here however at the end of another day, I am like, “that fender vent in front of that kick vent, it got a different look”!

I am happy and proud we built an airbox around this vent! I think you can tell by looking at it but you most certainly will be able to tell standing next to it when it is running, or on boost!
