My 1977 FJ40 is for sale.
I have owned this truck since 1993, I am the third owner and it was bone stock when I bought it, it even still had the original spare tire on the carrier.
I had planned to restore it, but I got interested in building it instead. The build is mild, just a 3" lift and 33's and is actually perfect for the type of wheeling I do.
The reason I am selling? I decided to build a FZJ 80.
It's not the best looking 40, but the truck runs great and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere.

'72 TLC FJ40. Selling AS IS. Nice fixer up. I have no time to work on this gem. Needs body work. Some rust and erosion but majority is on the quarter panels, fenders and rockers. No erosion on interior of tub. Original ambulance doors and jump seats that are in GREAT condition. Interior is in great condition. Heater works, wipers work. Hard top in good condition. Clear and original title. Carburetor has been disassembled, cleaned and painted, but needs some adjusting. Personally this thing is gorgeous, if I did not have a baby on the way this would be mine. It only needs a little more tuning to be complete which the owner has taken the car to a mechanic to get it finalized. It rides smooth and the engine runs like a champ.

i patched the rust in the drivers floor boards the only other bad spot is the back. it has a bikinni top and hard top with doors. theres no motor in it right now being the rear main spun. but it was completely rebuilt 50 miles befor the bearing went:mad:. fj only has about 107000miles. it had new camshaft, lifters, valves, rings, starter, radiator, rebuilt carb, battery, fuel filter, k&n airfilter, alternator, its all disassembled cause i was planing on fixing it but, all i mean all of my money went into it now i cant afford to fix it.and i was just accepted into wyotech next year so i need to get some money to pay. i hate to sell it but i hate seeing it sit there it needs someone who has the money to fix it up.its got new lockin tuffy...
O.K. time to move some old Cruisers out of the barn. Here's a great start for someone ...#1 the metal is very good on the 66 Complete front end very nice fenders correct! hood good shape side aprons all there. It has both front doors again correct these are BUG Catcher side style windows doors.. This cruiser also has correct front windshield frame with Factory Fresh air dam. Inside is pretty bare all controls are there heater speedo cluster. Both factory side panels with glass Small windows . No upper fiberglass top but I have one that should work,I have 2 rear bifold lift tops and both lower rear doors. I am selling my 73 FJ40. Asking $12,000. I have owned this rig since 1992. She is about 95% stock with aftermarket wheels, KYB shocks and a change in paint color from Grey to Pumpkin (Pullox)Orange. Last year she was cured of all cancer, coated inside with Bullhide bed liner and freshly painted. Newly upholstered seats, new dash cover, Mechanically sound inside and out. Original motor runs great and never fails. Needs a new exhaust and someone to care for her as I have. Located in Eastern Washington.

Really a pretty clean FJ40, first year of the disc brake front axle & ambulance doors. This has a completely rebuilt 2F with many powder coated parts under the hood including valve cover, air cleaner, etc. This rig starts great, runs great, and is ready for Summer wheeling! You could drive as is, or for minor work patch a few of the rusty spots and repaint for a clean rig. This is factory paint, never been repainted, no surprises; what you see is what you get! I have a 1971 FJ40 that will make a great project. It has the 1F engine (98,000 miles) and a new Tiger soft top. The engine is not getting a spark, so I think the coil is bad. The body is straight with just a few rust spots inside the front right fender. I have the 2 jump seats in the back, but they will need to be re-covered.
The downside is there is no windshield just the frame. The front seats are not original and will need to be bolted down too. The tires are 31x10.5 Mud terrains on chrome wheels. There are Rancho shocks and steering as well.
I'm in Eugene Oregon.
