Its time....
My 1977 FJ40 is for sale.
I have owned this truck since 1993, I am the third owner and it was bone stock when I bought it, it even still had the original spare tire on the carrier.
I had planned to restore it, but I got interested in building it instead. The build is mild, just a 3" lift and 33's and is actually perfect for the type of wheeling I do.
The reason I am selling? I decided to build a FZJ 80.
It's not the best looking 40, but the truck runs great and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere.

The truck has the original 2F (77,000 miles)with GM HEI ignition, 105 amp GM alternator, SM 465 transmission, '77 Cruiser transfer case with early gears, ARB air locker in the rear, Auburn limited slip in the front, Toyota mini-truck power steering, OME lift with Rancho RS 9000 shocks, 33" swampers, hard top, Fastrack soft top, bikini top, duster, Dash box, Acura integra front seats, Samari rear seat, Iron Pig skid plate, full family cage, custom rear bumper, 4 wheel disc brakes, York onboard air with storage tank, and Sony stereo.
Typical parts will go with the truck - extra VERY clean third member in cut center section carrier, extra barn doors and half doors, spare fenders and a couple bins and boxes of the **** you accumulate when you own a truck like this…

The bad - it needs (at a minimum) a new rear tub, and to have the spare ft. fenders installed to make it "pretty", drivetrain needs nothing.
Asking $6500

Any pic's of the tub issues?

Pic's of the bad spots, the floors are good and the under the rear doors was fixed years ago.

Decided to try this again, This is a great truck, It would make someone a great trail truck, all the work is allready done!

Price drop $6000 OBO, may consider partial trades (I have been considering building a fj/bj 60 or fj80 trail truck)

Put that tax money to good use, buy another Cruiser!
