So, have you guys ever run across a Cruiser on the Web, and thought THIS IS THE ONE I have been waiting for????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The price seems right and the rig LOOKS clean. I love my 80 and I love my 40, but I needs me a truck real bad. And there is no other truck I want then a 45. When I saw this clean looking (from the one pic) FJ45 that's what I thought. I contacted the guy and even offered to trade my 1970 FJ40 to which he replied, "If I didn't need the money I wouldn't be selling my truck." Only logical decision was to immediately put my rig up for sale.....???? Now its been a couple days and I am coming to terms with the fact that I am just going to have to wait as now it doesn't seem to be in the cards. SO...
1980 Toyota BJ43L
Selling a rare 1980 Toyota FJ (BJ43) for purchase! The Toyota BJ43 is a rare two-door medium wheelbase diesel powered Land Cruiser, even rarer than the already rare gasoline counterpart model (FJ43). This vehicle is believed to be one of just a handful in the United States and is like before mentioned, very rare. The vehicle was built to be used as a rescue vehicle for the European Alps, and is in incredible condition. This example is a matching numbers vehicle. The odometer reads just 21,025 original miles (33,838KM). The vehicle is equipped with 4X4 and is powered by the rare diesel (B Engine) 3.0L connected to a 4 speed manual transmission. This BJ43 comes with a removable soft top and hardtop. $39,900
