Is LHD a must? I know of a RHD candidate that is going to be for sale soon.
solid frame and powertrain, rusty rear door (as usual!) but perfect donnor for a frame off restoration project 9500$ u.s.

This one really needs a restoration. $5500 and diesel. Land cruiser diesel 4wd
Why don't you look for a RHD and do the conversion since you say frame off restoration you want?
You have more chance to find a good donor in RHD especially in the troopy.
The conversation may sound scary but it is actually not that big thing especially if you want to pull everything apart.

I did sell the yellow one to a Toyota dealer in Panama City, FL. I have a new business venture going which is chewing through cash quickly so had to sell that one. Might have to sell the white one in the spring depending on if some other deals come through first....hopefully not
