Package of two FJ25 hard top models, located near Hamilton, MT. $1,500 bucks for both.

First rig is a '61 0-FJ-21496, #44 in the "count" I bought it from "Cruiserman" with the understanding that he could buy it back at any time. That was a looong time ago, that he said "tag, you're it!" didn't register at the time. I have not done a thing with it. Has an Arizona title from way back.

It is halfway through a spring over, mini truck? centered rear and 40 disc brake front end, includes bare cut and turned front axle. It had a V8, mounts are off the frame. SM4whatever trans and NPSomething tcase remain and are hooked up to rear end with a double cardan shaft.

Body is pretty gosh darn good rust wise. Firewall is mangled, so is the trans cover. Extra cowl has firewall and side to repair the other rig. Rear wheel arches cut for the Big Rubber, floor between seats is cut out and covered (that little arch thing is gone). Trans cross member is gone, replaced with something else for SM/NP. Custom? fuel tank.

Second rig is a junk yard rescue. 0-FJ-20855, #38 in the "count". Body has the typical rust in the rear, "light" tip-over on the right side, otherwise pretty nice. Nice frame, still has paint on it. A little cut on front horns where unique bumper is welded on. Original axles. Good top, not-good doors. Original fuel tank W/sender

Quick sale means buyer has first crack at parts stash for cheap. Choice of F135s if you want to go that route, think of it as a "build-a-bear" type scenario. If there is only room for one on your trailer the ugliest goes first!

Pictures soon

I will be selling the little stuff probably this winter, I want to get the big stuff out before the Winter snows it in. I leave in a few days if anybody needs pics of something special...

is that extra smokey flavor included at no charge?

Still got em? I would love to give one of those a home and a second lease on life, but you are a long way away from Oregon...heck, Hamilton is a long way from anywhere (in a good way).

Oh yeah, still available, I would love for you to have them! Though to be honest I think they are on their third or fourth lease....

Ain't we all?

On the lime green beauty, is the red underneath the green a primer or the original color?
Also, before I start to consider this too seriously, would either of them survive flat towing??
And,...are they accessible in the winter, or is better to wait until spring?
Based on my track record of previous projects, it is a long shot I can convince the wife that this is a really good idea, but being able to intelligently articulate the facts should give me the tools I need to lose that argument with class and dignity.

I think it was red...I'll check again, as the primer color was red-ish also.

The light green one can be flat towed, the dark green one would need spacers on the front because it has the original steering arms which require 16" rims...15" on there now are loose and flat (I might be able to hook you up with better ones)

They can be gotten to any time, given enough notice, no trouble, we have Land Cruisers to pull them away from the herd.

You could make the case that the two 25s will take up less space and time than the four Nissan Patrols I would sell you for the same price, 25s are twice as valuable!
25 HTs are rarer than FSTs, and you don't have to fiddle around with expensive canvas. She will never be blamed for your bad day...it's always the POs fault!
Of course it is not a good idea, your rescue of these rigs is a manifestation of your compassion and joy of life that She loves so much in you. And they won't piddle too much in the driveway, excellent fuel economy...no motors! Let us know if you need more lines...

Next time I run into Eric, I'll let him know you 'flipped' his rig...I'm sure he won't mind as he's completely out of the cruiser world now.

The rigs are at their new home, owner seems to be happy with the treasure trove and has big plans. Maybe he will show up around here..

Hoarder to flipper in ten years flat, all without therapy!
