Damaged Tire bead (1 Viewer)

I have a never used OEM michelin LTX M/S (was the spare on my '93.) The bead got damaged on removal.

Anyone know if this is salvageable? If so, You can have it...located in South Jersey.

I would say nope, but the real question is: would you be your life on it? (perhaps a bit over dramatic, i know.)

Bead holds the tire. Bad bead, bad tire.

Salvaged? Come on, from your post it is a 16 to 17 year old tire with a bad bead.

Edit, after looking at what looks like the the production code, it looks to be 10 year old tire made in the 5 th week of 2000

Just use it to make a tire swing, or planter or pay for the tire disposal fee.
