Hello All,

I’ve been lurking for quite a while now. Long enough to buy 2 cruisers before posting.
1997 – stock (big plans)
2001 – the mall cruiser

Thanks to all the regular posters whose info has been invaluable.:D

Here are a few pics…

Welcome from a newb!

Welcome from another newb. I've been trying to get my wife to buy a mall cruiser similar to your '01--I tried a FJ Cruiser first, but that's not her style apparently...

What are your big plans for the '97?

Phase 1:
1)Suspension OME
2)Front bumper ARB
3)Rear bumper w/ spare SLEE
4)Sliders SLEE

Phase 2:
1)snorkel
2)roof tent
3)drawers

Plus the various projects:
CB, Nav, etc...

That FJ is growing on me. Went out recently with one in our group, it was bone stock with street tires and it had no problems keeping up with the "big boys"

Welcome. Remember that first picture when you are under your truck in the future working on something and mud and dirt keep falling into your eyes.

Nice to see a fellow member exploring the benefits of the 80 and 100 series.

Welcome

Theres two for you!

Great pics for a newb! :flipoff2: Welcome!

Welcome. What's that green thing on your antenna mast?

Welcome:flipoff2:

Nice pair of cruisers you got there! welcome aboard, and keep your eyes out in the trip/events section for nc/sc/va club rides. There is a tellico trip in jan and a tentative cullowhee trip in march.

Welcome aboard, nice pics too!

Welcome!!

What do you think of 100 compare to 80?

The 100 has more leg room, bigger engine and more amenities; rear air, stereo/nav, etc…
The 80 is my off-road vehicle and the wife’s daily driver:eek: . The 100 is the on-road vehicle, kid hauler and my daily driver. Even though they are both capable, the 80 seems more off-road ready. I’ve haven’t had the 100 wheelin’ so I won’t compare, but on the street….the 100 is the only way to travel!

great looking rides great to see you wheel yours as well. welcome

I will definitely keep an eye out. I have been looking into Tellico recently!:)
