Hello, I'm now selling my '93 FZJ80, since a possible trade deal fell through and I haven't gotten a great response on trading. The reason for selling is that this was once our only 4 door vehicle, but recently, my wife bought a Madza CX-7, and I would rather have a less practical, more trail oriented toy. Also, I hate to admit it, but I get bored with stuff.

Here's the details:

White 1993 FZJ80. Lots of pictures below:

The good:

Warn 9000 lbs winch – bought new – haven’t even used it after I installed and tested it.

ARB Bull Bar (winch model)

OME lift (My lift is basically a Slee 4inch lift with the shorter OME springs considering all the addon's that I ended up getting. I did this so it would still fit in my garage. You could upgrade it to Slee's 4 or 6 inch lift with nothing but springs, I believe since I've bought the expensive DC driveshaft, adjustable control arms, caster correction, extended brake lines, bumpstops, etc)

Slee Caster plates

Slee bumpstop spacers

Double Cardon drive shaft from Slee

Extended stainless steel brake lines from Slee

Slee Adjustable upper rear control arms

Metal Tech Rock Sliders

Custom made high clearance rear bumper with swing away spare tire carrier. Its 95% finished. I need to redo the latching mechanism, and was going to change a couple things to make it look a little better.

Center diff lock switch from Slee

ARB Air Lockers both front and rear with upgraded air compressor and on board air (a 5 gallon tank where the spare tire used to be).
4.88:1 gears front and rear
Marlin Crawler chromoly birfields http://www.marlincrawler.com/htm/axles.htm#longfield

315/75/16 BFG Mud Terrains (90%+ tread)
Wet Okole seat covers in the front

3rd row seat (in storage, not currently installed)

Pesky Heater Hose permanently upgraded and replaced: http://www.1fzfephh.com/Silicone.html
Fuel filter replaced recently as preventative maintenance.
O2 sensor replaced about a year ago when a light came on. Light hasn't been back on.

Kenwood CD head unit (MP3 capable), and 4 nice speakers (actually the fronts are component speaker, so there are 6 total)

You'll get a big bag of receipts, but probably not all of them. I've tried to keep up with all of them.
Everything works (Better air conditioning than my '05 Mustang)
No dents.
Drives really good even at 75+ mph.

The not so good:
~240k miles. I bought it at 230k or so (it's a rarely driven Toy for me). I'm the 3rd owner. Its been in NW Ark all its life. The lady I bought it off of accidentally marked non accurate odometer on the title. I thought I'd keep this thing forever, so I didn't even bother her about it. It is the original mileage, which you can pretty much tell from the carfax. It seems to be well taken care of. I'd drive it across the country. Its never left me stranded or broken anything on the trail, but I've only driven it ~10k miles. When I bought it, I couldn't believe that it drove just like my dad's '95 FZJ80 with only ~120k miles. These things don't wear out.

I had all the fluids flushed and replaced the week that I got it--transmission, transfer case, front end, rear end, radiator, etc. Does use some oil between oil changes, but not much. I only had to add oil once between oil changes. I've never seen it smoke. It has a high idle when cold, sometimes. Power windows are a little slow. Rear heater control switch was removed when the ARB switches were put in, but it will come with the switch. Leather is pretty bad in the front seats, but I put nice seat covers over it. Middle seats are ok. 3rd row seats look really good.

Paint is not great-dull, some scratches
A fender flare is cracked on the passenger side where I rubbed a tree on a tight trail.
Steering wheel leather is worn quite a bit, but doesn't bother me.
Antennae doesn't always go up or down, and needs a little persuasion sometimes.

Don't know if head gasket had been replaced. Its never had any symptoms of problems with it. My dad had his head gasket replaced on his '95, so I know a little about it.

----------------------------------------------

I did the work myself except for:

installing the lockers, gears, chromoly birfields, PHH, brake lines (a 4x4 shop in Fayetteville). Seals were replaced, and I was told that the bearings looked really good.

replacing all the fluids (Toyota dealership right after I bought it). I also asked them to inspect it and let me know if anything needed attention.

I was really picky about the driveline vibrations after the lift, so I ended up buying the double cardon driveshaft and adjustable control arms. No vibrations now. I'm a mechanical engineer, and very picky about any little hiccups, coughs, vibrations, etc that my vehicles have.

Looking to get $12k out of this thing, which is less than I've spent on the goodies that I've installed in the past 15 months or so, not including what I paid for the Cruiser. Its a lot of miles, sure, but it doesn't drive like its got a lot of miles, the interior doesn't look like its got a lot of miles, and the drivetrain isn't showing signs of old age.

Trades:
Will also trade (full or partial) for a nice FJ40, or possibly Early Bronco, or possibly, but unlikely, a YJ or TJ.
Let me know what you have.
