My homebuilt slide using the cheapest drawer slides rated for the weight from amazon also doesn't rattle. Sounds like a conversation with the vendor is in order as you say.White rim was amazing.
Well that's good to know. Mine works flawlessly, just rattles. I'll check with DFG.

You bet.Very interesting this thread is on the front page, I’ve just spent the last hour or so pouring over a few Wyoming maps planning for a trip this June. I’d love to pm you a few questions if you wouldn’t mind a north Georgia red neck with his wife and kids roaming around your neck of the woods.
Oh man, I have to admit I am incredibly impressed that you were able to complete it in an earthroamer. I mean most of the trail no problem, but there are a few spots that would be super sketchy with a rig that big. Well done!I took my 2006 Earthroamer on the White Rim last spring. About 1/2 way through we came across a group of LC guys coming from the other direction and the lead driver jumped out of his 100 and came over to chat, he was a big stereotypical biker looking dude (likely on mud somewhere), he said hello and asked me if I had done the trail before, I told him no and he said "you can't do it". We made it through but by the grace of God. For all intents and purposes he was right. Never again in a rig that big, but one hell of a trip!

Since adding the extra fuel tank and rear bumper I had to swap out the springs for the heavier duty (2724). If your not running extra weight back there (other than a fridge) the 2723s are great. I really liked the ride quality when I had them. With the added weight of the bumper and a full 24 gallon tank the 2724 are pretty close to how it rode with 2723s but I would say a bit firmer. I think they are designed to compensate for drawers as well though which I currently don't have. Are you still running the OME 2723's in the rear? If so, how do you like them? My BP-51 set up will be going in soon.
Any input is helpful.
Thanks.
Thanks, I have loved owning it and making some mods.Very clean, attractive, and purposeful build! I have fond memories of exploring down in your neck of the woods quite a few years ago, what a perfect rig to do it in.
