Yeah I guess I should have included that.

Very easy install, worse part was fishing the wire down the support channels of the hood. FYI there is already a hole in the metal support beneath the plastic cover by the hood bumper where you can install the spring loaded switch. If you find that you just have to drill a small hole through the plastic cover to be able to mount that.

My Slee sliders showed up so I installed over this last weekend. If you’re thinking about ordering these, take note that you also have to order the 200 series hardware kit. I didn’t pay attention so I had to look at these beauties assembled and ready to go in my shop until the hardware came in. Little time consuming to install but not hard. Immediately took them out and got them dusty. Haven’t pounded them on a rock yet, but they feel super stout.

finally ran wiring for my dometic 75 fridge freezer. It’s a beast of a fridge. Ended up using the firewall grommet on passenger side and running through the door sills on that side of the car. Reason being I plan to run a switch pro eventually or something similar and wanted to save the grommet tube on the drivers side for that. I don’t know if I want any drawers in the back yet as I drive this daily. I’m not certain I want to take up my cargo space I often use for groceries or whatever mrs asks me to pick up in town. I’m thinking maybe just a platform and slide for now… thoughts?

BP51 installed with 275/70R18 BFG K02. I had ordered spacer for the rear from @cruiseroutfit, but ended up installing without. Sitting on 2721 rear springs. I wish I would have remembered to take some measurements before the install to compare with after, but I forgot. Feels like the front is 4" higher than before, rear maybe 1/2" to 1" gain. Looks much better in my opinion.

Also forgot to mention a week or two ago I had the front windows tinted to match the rears - well as close as they could. Mrs. was baffled why I would do that. After riding in it for 10 minutes after tint she asked me to make an appointment for her XC90, ha ha. Not sure why she never noticed I have done that in several of my past vehicles, but I'll never understand her, so.

I was scrolling this thread from the beginning and the FIRST thought I had was tint the front side windows. ESPECIALLY on a white LC. It just looks correct. My wife had the same reaction. First was, WHY?? and Second was, ME TOO PLEASE!!

Yeah, sometimes they need the experience something themselves to see things the way we do, ha ha. Definitely looks a lot better on the white, I agree.

The truck looks fantastic! I have the same '21 HE in Blizzard White. Very tasteful and functional upgrades you've made.
Thanks! I love it so far. I've always had older cruisers, it's been fun to explore in and modify a modern one.

I'm really enjoying reading about your modifications - looking great. I'm also driving a 21 HE (2 seat row), but in black. Would you mind sharing some additional suspension information - what springs were used, etc. I'd love to get a similar stance on my vehicle.

I have the BP51 Suspension with 2321 progressive springs in the rear. I actually purchased spacers for the rear too as ARB says the 2321s do not lift. But It lifted enough so I did not install them. I have 2723 springs on the shelf at home I plan to install once I put a rear bumper and drawers in the back. I still can't decide which bumper and drawers I like and the leadtime for either is pretty long so I just put in the 2321 for now. I did not adjust preload on the fronts because I have plans to add the ARB bumper and winch up front. So the front rides a little bouncier than it should currently. I have 1 1/4" Spidertrax Spacers behind the stock wheels with 275/70/18 BFG Ko2s.

It rides really nice. Probably a bit firmer than stock, but still very nice and you can adjust it to your liking. @wngrog had suggested Dobinsons to me as they are much easier to adjust on the fly. At the time my OME had just shipped to me (after waiting 2 months) so too late to cancel. I considered selling the kit and going with Dobinsons then. But, the OME seems to be so well liked, i had to pay to ship them, had been waiting for a long time and was excited about it. Also I figured once I adjusted the BP51 I'd likely leave it. I have to admit, they are kind of a pain to adjust once your rig is all dirty. Not hard, just a pain to do under the rig especially on a rocky trail. I don't know how the ride compares between the two brands but if I were starting over I'd probably go with Dobinson's just for the ease of adjustment.

Thanks for the information. I'll look at both the BP51's and the Dobinson's. I'm trying to figure out what set up will be best for me. To be honest, I may occasionally drive a fire road but most likely never do any real off-roading. Any lift would be for pure aesthetics and I’m aiming to keep the ride / comfort similar to stock. I need to locate a local shop to walk me through the options, the dealerships have been less than helpful with accessory and suspension upgrades. I appreciate your help.

Yeah most of them don't do many mods, if any, on 200s. Cruiser Outfitters @cruiseroutfit would be a good resource for options/parts. Benefits of the lift are clearance of course, ride quality and adjustability and it looks cool too no doubt. But the stock 200 rides really smooth so if you see yourself mostly on pavement I'd keep it stock personally. I loved how nicely it drove stock (also love it lifted) I should have mentioned my tires do rub once I put the spacers on. Without spacers no rubbing. They shouldn't rub once I install the ARB bumper on the front as the part they rub on will be removed.

ARB front bumper delivery from @cruiseroutfit. Probably won't have time to install it for a week or two. Looks like it will be a time consuming project.

The install is straight forward. I did mine over a couple of weekends as I wasn't in any hurry. I will say that having an extra person when sliding it into position definitely helps. Placing a single 2x4 block of wood under the bumper and using a floor jack worked perfect for me to have it at the correct height. I had mine on and off about half a dozen times as I wanted the cut sections to be just right. Depending on what winch you install, you may need to trim differently than the instructions state.

Thanks, i figured I'd need one of my bros for help. I'd like to take my time and get it right. Are the templates in the instructions pretty accurate or would you cut larger than they say so you can fine tune? That is my one hesitation with doing the aftermarket bumpers, don't want ugly gaps. Tough I suspect you need some for the bumper movement.

The template is reasonably close in my experience. Although, definitely took plenty of massaging to have the gaps fit my acceptance level. Particularly for my winch(Warn 12S Platinum.). Wasn't an issue, just took some additional time.
I found the pictures in the instructions to be challenging to see, as they are quite small. Oh, one thing of note in the instructions is for the electrical hookup of the turn signals. The reference to driver and passenger side is for Australia.
Feel free to PM me if you run into any trouble.

Thanks, yes the instructions are difficult to read. I actually got ARB to email me their PDF version which is much better so that will help. Thanks for the tips, I'm PM you if I need help.

ARB install complete. Man that was quite the project. Worked on it over a few days mostly alone and the instructions left a few details out that took me a while to figure out. Turned out pretty good though I think. Suspension feels better already (having been preloaded for it) so that was nice. Now I can mount up some nice spot lights of some kind. ARB builds a good quality bumper, this thing is stout.

What % tint did you apply to your front side windows? Looks great against the white.

Shoot, I don’t remember. I just asked them to match the rear and it’s the nicer ceramic film. It’s too dark to be legal in some states, but fine in WY.
