Does anybody have the two shifter boots for the 3 spd floor tranny? Is there 2 rubber parts per (2 for floor shifter and 2 pieces for the 4WD) ? Really appreciate this, Dave

Dunno...probably. I guess I need the outer boots for the floor and the 4WD and do I need two inner boots? Or just one inner boot? I was an out patient today and got anesthesia (a friend mech installed the tranny for me but doesn't want to cut until I get some boots) so I am in a haze. I really do appreciate everyone's suggestions-dave
 
HELP!!! I've got my shifter boots in and Marshall is helping me with the TC boot....but I have failed to get the part that you screw into the floor board for each shifter...what are these called? Retainer? Its just the thin metal (square) piece that holds down the outer rubber. Usually chrome I guess. Please excuse my ignorance on nomenclature for this part.

Does anybody have one for the shifter and one for the TC? Can I use a universal kit? Go to a junk yard..........I hate being dumb...please help me-------Thanks, Dave

All of this went to the floor? Like a late model 4 on the floor with transfer...sorta standard hump?
 
yep, standard hump but what I need is what I guess is called the shifter cover plates that go around the rubber for each shifter. Thanks to anyone who can help me locate. dave
 
Dave. I'm including the ring and such for the T-case. I didn't think there was a ring for the Trans? It just mounted onto the lip of the hole on 3spds?
 
Oh ok....so when we cut the hole for the shifter the boot fits that way. The only reason I'm asking is because when I saw a conversion in an old Ford p/u from column to floor there was the boot and ring at the base of the boot. I thought you had to have it to hold the rubber boot in place. Many thanks, Dave
